  1. Agreed, but it's hard to overlook that the big boss is now the single most prominent exponent of misinformation and worse. Feels not so much like the horse has bolted through an open gate, as the horse now owns and runs the stable.
  2. Funny old thread this. When we're debating whether someone deserves abuse for going about their work and nothing more, you know that some are going in two-footed. Lots of folk claim when quizzed that they hold themselves to the same standard, but I wonder whether their co-workers would agree. Not a pop at the OP btw, as it's a valid question IMO.
  3. One judge had it 97-93 Jonas. I think he must have been watching a different fight to the one I saw. I expect they'll meet again and hopefully we'll get another decent bout, but without the controversy this time.
  4. They also posted about a guy who stuffed a load of Cadbury's creme eggs up his bum, but in this case, I do agree that it's a point worth making 😋
  5. It'll change in the Summer. Keep the faith. I know you go to a lot of games and it must be harder in some ways when you do. Driving back from the Reading game, anybody would question the sanity of investing so much time and energy into something so frustrating, but this is Derby we're talking about and the very same team will probably slip back into form as suddenly as they dipped out of it. I hope so anyway.
  6. Sorry, did you say something?
  7. Yeah the petty name-calling marks him out as a proper whopper in my book. Oh, hang on... 🫢
  8. I do. Tried the ignore function but with her 100 posts a day it's hard to avoid the 'mentions'. Good to see we still have some gentlemen left on the forum looking out for the poor thing though. Bravo 😋
  9. He's not alone then, is he? 😂 No! Something you've said before!!!
  10. Yeah really. Easy mistake to make though. No need to thank me 😋
  11. You do grasp that Anag isn't actually Rees-Mogg, right? 😋
  12. I'm not going to debate this any further. This is just something else we'll have to agree to disagree on.
  13. The comments aren't exclusively from other platforms. The suggestions that Clowes was somehow still in league with Morris which forced him to address them related to the Boots on the Ground thread on this very forum. Feel free to confirm for yourselves. Clowes even had to address that slur with a press release, assuring us fans that it was a complete fabrication, so let's not pretend that those comments did not cause some consternation, nor originate right here. Our most prolific poster on here has suggested that Clowes is more interested in cash than the club and the Saint reference was from a removed post, also on here, likewise the suggestion that Clowes was wanting out as soon as possible. All of these comments call his character and motives into question and all are bang out of order. That's my opinion and I stand by it. If it really matters so much that I name names, then I suggest you DM me.
  14. Weren't Rotherham in the play-offs slots when he left? Not too many games in obviously, but it does rather throw some doubt on this argument. That said, it's still the major concern for me too, though given he's not going anywhere, I don't dwell on it too much. I think Clowes will make the hard decisions if it becomes obvious he needs to anyway.
  15. He's played a blinder so far, get him in. Might be a tad expensive mind as his wage demands are significant and I fear he won't be as quick across the ground as our current left winger.
  16. Are you seriously suggesting you've not read anything yourself Sage? Really? Before the run and since Xmas and the downturn in form, Clowes has been copping it all over SM. He's clueless, he's only in it for the money, he'll flog us to anyone who has the cash as he's desperate to get out, he's still in league with Morris, Saint Clowes, yadda, yadda, yadda. There's fukn loads of it. Some stuff gets removed on here which is good, but Twatter and Facebook are fookin grim right now. Anyway, I'm already wound up today, so I think it's best I just rein it in, as I'm probably just making things worse now.
  17. That's actually hilarious. I'd not noticed this at all.
  18. Dogman (2023) Will definitely trigger a few DCFC forumites based on their posting records (there's a lot of cross-dressing going on) and there's no doubt that it's daft AF, but it does contain a startling performance from Caleb Landry Jones that despite the moderate success of Besson's latest output, will surely secure him an award or two. FWIW, I think it's a much better film than the ratings suggest. https://www.imdb.com/title/tt17009348/ Pesch / 10 March general release.
  19. Well, well, well. I was having a read up on views being expressed on the Joshua - Ngannou fight and it seems someone else shares the same concern I do about the fight. That said, it's only Teddy Atlas though, you know the guy who's been training since the 70s and worked with Cus D'Amato, so I think we can easily dunk on his casual observations 😂 More 'nothing comments' I guess 🫢
  20. Not semantics at all. I was Rosenior's biggest fanboy, but even I'd concede he was never more than the interim manager. You can argue all day long (and you probably will) as to whether he should have been offered the job, but the rest is indisputable. Clowes himself has said that they'd been speaking to Warne for over 2 months before he was contracted, so to use your terminology, that dunks all over your argument. Also, who is the 'anyone' you refer to when you claim he secured 'way more points than anyone believed was possible'. Were there no fans pleased to see Warne appointed then? I don't recall Roymac and the other Warne in clan members getting all dizzy over Rosenior's win ratio. All this chat about Liam is point-scoring bolarks anyway.
  21. I'd ask David Clowes whether he regrets spending a fifth of the family net worth saving a club where a good portion of the 'fans' illustrate zero loyalty or gratitude, preferring instead to sneer and smear him every time we don't win. I'd also ask whether given this increasingly widespread snarkiness only a season and a bit into his tenure, whether he is also now feeling that it would be way less grief to just leave the graceless gobshites to sort the club's future from their own pockets.
  22. This was seen and filmed as it happened by the BBC, so it would seem they too are part of a wider conspiracy to portray the IDF as murderers of innocent civilians. Abhorrent.
  23. Ah feck, really? Injuries are going to totally derail us. Players are dropping like flies now 😔
  24. I think I've made my point abundantly clear. I'll leave it there.
