According to Kirchner the recruitment team was disbanded during the cutbacks. No loss whatsoever in my humble opinion as that has been our failure that put us in this mess.
That means that for the immediate future we will have to rely on WRs judgement and contacts.
Not ideal by any means but that’s the situation we are in and we’ll sink or swim depending on how well he does with recruitment.

One of them is even stalking Kirchner's wife on social media. Most of them are truly demented and painfully insecure. They get butt-hurt when anyone praises our team's resilience. If they don't get promoted, some of them will need to be put on suicide watch. They should change the club name to Nottingham Fragile and get free counselling with every season ticket. God help them if they're ever in our position, most of them would have to be sectioned.

I wonder if he’s said that to Kirchner. 

Ashley is a known quantity which is why most people including me would advocate him taking over. He would have good liquidity - let’s face it he’s got £300m from Newcastle sale alone!! We don’t know CK, he’s been able to keep his wealth private and fair play to him for that but it makes people nervous. We have to trust that through Q he’s proven the necessary liquidity to take this on. 
 
So let’s assume he can take it on, I’m really trying hard to remain cautious but it’s hard not to be excited about his vision for the club, his alignment with Rooney and he seems very interested in improving the fan experience, the catering offerings everything around it. Ashley wouldn’t care about any of that. He wants to build around the academy, Ashley wouldn’t care about that either. 
 
You know the best way to judge the mood, look at the Forest activity on Twitter re:Derby’s situation and how its got quieter and quieter in recent days, maybe CK is actually the real deal and as Rooney says maybe we are about to witness a rebirth of a great club (without being a Phoenix of course!).
