It's far more than one. They may not reflect the general attitude of all Bristol City fans, but there's no sympathy to be had on there for our plight, or did you misunderstand the whole thrust of their (to date) 59 page "Derby Deserve Relegation..." thread and the suggestion that they'll "rub it in" when they come to PP in April?

So if some of them are concerned and worrying a bit about their club and don't like the fact that we're having a moment or two of Schadenfreude, they're just reaping what they've sowed.

They aren't going to go into Administration and they probably won't even get charged by the EFL, so dry yer knickers ?

I didn't misunderstand it because I didn't read it. I don't go on other clubs' forums.

Yeah very funny. And sometimes you don't. You seem to know all about cheap insults that's for sure.

I do know all about them. It seems to me, however, that there is no reason whatsoever to treat Bristol City any different from Wigan, Bury etc, or indeed, how we would like fans of other clubs to view our situation.

It seems that some big mouth on a Bristol City forum trolls and some on here have been drawn in to the childishness.

The bigger picture is that fans of other clubs are just like us and love their club regardless of whatever charlatan is running it.

Strangely, this piss taking never happened with Blackpool, Birmingham, Reading, Wigan, Bolton, Bury, Coventry etc.  Anyone would think this pretty light hearted thread being sent in their direction, might be a bit of reciprocation for 12 months of vitriol and bile coming our way.  A lot but by no means all by from one, very sad, ringleader looking to have a day out with a meal at Pride Park in April and hoping were liquidated.

Gobshites on a forum are not representative of all fans. My mother always told me not to sink to their level. I sometimes even succeed.

But this thread doesn't seem especially light-hearted to me. But then I have often thought what some people would call 'banter' is nothing but cheap insult.

We have earned a heck of a lot of plaudits on the field from independent supporters with respect of having a tiny squad of youngsters and football pensioners with the reality that they are keeping the effort up in fact a dam sight more than most players at most clubs, with our supporters backing and keeping the effort going.

Don't look at the Bristol City thread

    You think it's only one?

There have been plenty on there slating the club and the fans. I personally couldn't give a toss either way about them,  but after reading and hearing the comments from other clubs fans about our problems,  there will be no sympathy from me if any other club got into financial difficulties or fell foul of the EFL rules.

    That stinks

Silverwood needs to quit, and Root with him (as captain only of course).  Why on Earth was Crawley recalled?

Silverwood bet everything on this series. In the summer he thought tests against the best 2 teams in the world was good preparation for the Ashes. He should have been fired for disrespecting India and New Zealand. But got away with it because he kicked the can down the road to the Ashes. This is the end of the road.

  7. Our top 3 average 30 or under each.

Compare that to Warner, 48 and Labuschagne, 60 odd.

None of our top 3 (and Burns) are fit for test cricket. A few years ago, England would routinely by 3 down by the time we get to 50. That was bad. Now we're routinely 2 down with barely double figures on the board.

Rubbish. Amateurish, ill prepared, weak willed.

    Rubbish.

Quite funny listening to Ian Chappell he’s not subtle about Roots captaincy, you can hear the English commentators wincing, all too nervous to be remotely critical

That's because they are all too matey with players and administrators to do their jobs properly. If you doubt that, seek out Agnew's interview with his mate, Paul Downton when the latter was making a pig's ear of his role at the ECB.

Chappell has no such qualms. Tell the truth, however much that may hurt.
