It may be the same result, but "Didn't deserve to win" seems a lot fairer phrase than "Deserved to lose"!

Yes, I enjoyed that... as a game of football, and as a spectacle.
Yes, I'd watch 'em again... in the big games, so no different to the England blokes.
Yes, I'm more used to disappointment than joy, when it comes to watching England in these bigger games, and today has not changed that.

To my shame, I've had to look up her name... but Captain Millie Bright looked an absolute machine at the head of the tunnel. 
Physically "Brick-House", mentally focussed, and seemingly ready for battle.
I've decided I like her already, despite my obvious and shameful ignorance...

I wouldn't describe them as "Mighty".
OK, they're miles better than Yeovil, and far far superior to any bunch of Swedish butchers, bakers, and candlestick makers, but hardly "Mighty".  
 

Not sure if I'm speaking out of turn here, and this is not aimed at any specific poster or comment, but my thoughts are that if any manager... in any industry... bailed on his/her beliefs each and every time someone poo-poo'd such beliefs... well, they wouldn't be much of a manager would they! 🙄
Changing tack is brave, if it's done at the right time (and in the right way).  Changing tack at the merest hint of discontent (be that from staff, players, strangers on an internet forum, or senior management) is weak, to say the least.
My opinion then, is that it is unfair to criticise PW for sticking to his beliefs.  That's what he gets paid for, and that's what he lives and dies by (professionally speaking).

I was particularly impressed with the first half.  Some attractive play on show at times. 
second half was more “resilient” admittedly, but it was still a good job well done over 90 minutes.

I ‘jumped on board’ for the semi, not been a fan of ladies football but I did enjoy The Lionesses. Probably only watch if we get through to latter stages of a competition again. Overall it’ll be a boost for women’s football and the kids will be more interested which is terrific.
