The thing with pitch invasions are, clubs remind fans not to enter the pitch, it’s a criminal offence, then they use images with fans on the pitch as promotional material. Here’s Bournemouth using one to sell season tickets.
They are either serious about clamping down on it, or not.

All pitch invasions should be banned and anybody encroaching should immediately get a lifetime ban and 4 weeks in prison. see how many come on to the pitch then?

I was under the impression that it was illegal to enter the pitch (as opposed to just being a club rule?)
Make more arrests. Send more down for a few weeks. Hand out more bans.
Not exactly difficult to prove in court, as you’re either arrested on the pitch or not, so there’s nothing to argue, and it should put the successful prosecution rate up for the rozzers ( so “worth the paperwork”)!
Ambling calmly back to the stands/exits 20 mins later?  Arrest ‘em!
needs a full stop to it… celebration or otherwise!
of course, this won’t happen until a player is stabbed!

    It will be interesting.
On the one hand, it's a ticket that gives entry for the exact same number of games, on the other it's at a lower level.
It's worth bearing in mind that the pricing plan was changed last season too, instead of having multiple bands around the stadium,  pricing was changed to ends, corners and sides.
I presume, given the amount of ST holders who left their money with the club during the lost season, this might be the first time many East stand lowers, who sit towards the penalty boxes, will be asked to tap out the same amount as West stand uppers in line with the centre, if nothing changes?

First reaction is the joy that everyone is "OK" (technically!)
Hope mum recovers fully and quickly... and get's back in the drivers seat asap.  Obviously I don't know her personal circumstances, but if it's not already the case, having the freedom to tootle about in the car as and when, can be a life saver in it's own right, particularly as we get older, and perhaps lonelier.
Doggy seatbelts?  Who Knew!  I confess, that's me, but not only does it sound a good idea, it seems in this instance it actually did it's job!
I lose count on a daily basis, as to how many dogs I see roaming around the boot space of an SUV!  I'm not officially a dog lover, but Grrrr all the same!  ?
So nice move, on that score @David ?

I do think these latest gadgets are excellent... "City Braking", "Adaptive/Reactive Cruise control" etc... but I do wonder (generally speaking, as opposed to referring directly to this specific incident) they may just make us all a little lazy?  A little less concentrated?
I must confess, I'm always using my adaptive cruise.  Partly to avoid exceeding the speed limit, and partly to ensure I don't... for whatever reason... go ploughing into the car in front!  I hasten to add it's never been needed, and never kicked in (other than gently and purposely slowing me down as I approach a moving car in front, as it's designed for).  I doubt this incident would have been avoided if the car behind had been fitted with such a mod-con, but I strongly suspect the impact would have been lessened... quite considerably, no doubt... as the car would have auto-emergency-braked before driver was even aware (as he obviously reacted too late, or not at all!)

Hey... I'm waffling!  Put that down to my excitement about the good news that both are relatively OK!  Hope you're pampering them both today.  ?

At this point they have to be prevented with serious punishments for the individuals and clubs, custodial sentences, fines, banning orders for individuals that enter the pitch, and points deductions and forfeiting of the game for mass pitch invasions.
The minority yet again ruining it for the majority, sadly it’s a tradition that needs to end now. We live in a world of lunatics that wouldn’t think twice about seriously assaulting a player or manager given the opportunity…..over a game of football.
Too much of a security risk for the players and staff now to turn a blind eye, we can’t wait for a weapon to make it’s way on to the pitch.

Ilson is well known for "Being in the middle".  Pretty much 50/50 when it comes to Red dogs v Rams.
Just 2 miles closer to Pride Park than your council shed.  (From Ilson Market Place).  Similar result to and from the town/city centres.
Derby Post Code.  Notts phone code.
I'd suggest the above makes it too close to call, and the deciding factor may well lie with which team the nob 'ead had a season ticket for, and what shade of pink his regular seat is... sorry... was!
Surely that would confirm which club "He belongs to"!
Either way, you finding this worthy of a laughing gif has surprised me, if I'm honest.  I thought you were better than that.

Anyhoo... Here's hoping the next player to get physically attacked on the pitch, is neither one of ours, or one of yours.
    ?
