If I remember correctly Steve Howard also took a while to get off the mark and look how good he turned out to be.

Problem with radio comms these days is they dont really paint a picture of what is happening in the right kind of detail, Graham Richards was amazing at that. Listening to Dawes it sounds like nothing is even happening then a goal goes in and I have no idea of how it came about. Lot of the time I struggle to follow where the ball is on the pitch or who has possession. Hard to rate players on commentary really.

These signings really don't scream premier league survival to me. I thought Gibbs-White was amazing in that second playoff leg but 40m?! Fulham and Bournemouth looked like way better sides opening day.

If I was the manager as soon as a player showed they didn't want to be here anymore i'd get rid as fast as feasibly possible, only going to a negative impact on dressing room and a waste of precious resources especially in our current state. Bielik seems like a nice lad so it works out best for everyone involved to loan him out. Byrne I wouldn't even want him to play even if he had to stay after failed legal action.

Never met the guy, dont know what he's gone through in life so hard for me to form a judgement. It would be nice if he got back on track for both parties. I assume the major critics in here are perfect human beings.
