Now I don't want to sound like a 'Killjoy', but with DC being a wealthy, local businessman who is also a life-long Derby County fan, have we not all heard something not too dissimilar to this before from a certain Mel Morris?  Just sayin'!

Loads of other clubs that do well with local businessmen that are fans, one anecdote isn't a full trend.

Hm ... so Q decided not to consider a bid from billionaire MA, with unquestionable football experience.

They overlooked Applebys consortium, a man with years of experience of managing derby previously. A man who didn't previously leave derby in a huge amount of debt.

Q has once again selected a person with zero experience of managing a football club.

Mm was supposedly a derby fan, who was a local businessman with a lot of money. Yet he left the club in a horrible place.

So now Q send in the clowns, I mean Clowes, is he similar person to MM. On paper it would appear, that way, at least in as much as he's meant to be a fan of derby and is wealthy local.

Like mm he's supposedly a long term fan of derby county.

    I can't understand Q reasoning here.

Surely Appleby or MM would be better owners of derby, than a total unknown.

Actually what am I saying, Q just have to put forward the highest bid as the preferred bidder.

They don't really care if its in the best interests of the fans.

I wonder if Q will face legal action from Appleby of MA on this, only time will tell.

Quantuma are there is get maximum value for the creditors mate, you live in a fantasy land if you think they care how the club is run after they leave.

Stretton has the ability to be exactly where he needs to be to knock the ball in the net.
Out of our entire squad, he had the best minutes per goal ratio last season (a little bit ahead of Lawrence and Kazim, significantly better than Baldock and Plange)

He got so close to getting on the end of things so many times, he has the instinct I feel like he just needs games and maybe a bit better understanding with the guys putting the balls in.

    Guess 8am eastern us time?

But his money was allegedly in a "European clearing house"

He probably cancelled that transaction and sent again via different method. To be fair no one else is putting the cash up so far by the sounds of things so he might have a bit of time yet.

  5. If GGG doesn't sort that body conditioning out it will be a short night, he was almost buckled in half by Murata and Canelo is a devastating body puncher. Fair play though to still be chasing the dream at 40 years old, personally I hope he gets revenge for the 1st fight when they robbed him.

A right load on nonsense being posted about CK having a night out. So what - hadn't he been up until 3am on Thursday or Friday night in discussions with Rooney and maybe felt it was time to chill out.

    Big deal!

Guy just wanted to wind down after a pretty stressful time, I don't really begrudge him that. At least he is here getting involved and not just some foreign owner wanting an asset from afar.

He sure did have a good eye for talent, who remembers Junior.

Junior and Svensson upfront, they had a nice little run together. Remember them scoring a nice goal at forest that never seems to get replayed these days. I was there, we should have won a couple of times back then but forest skanked equalisers. i think it was a 1-1 and a 2-2, remember Michael Johnson rattling the crossbar in the 2-2.
