I doubt he will say that at all I dont think he was a fan of it.
But I think under roony Derby will beat the drop and go on following season and win the league back were we belong in premiership.

    Maybe.
I think that he will also be keeping an eye on Old Trafford. I don’t think Solskjær is at risk of the sack right now, but if he delivers nothing this season and Rooney does well with us I could see Man Utd come knocking.
Rooney would definitely leave us then. If he goes to Newcastle and messes it up, the United job won’t be there for a while.

Rooneys stock is rising fast at Derby, given the circumstances he is operating under. He knows, it will continue to rise, and the big jobs will come.
What he won’t want to do, is a Lampard. Moving club to demanding owners and getting sacked quickly would push his career backwards.
I mean, the expectations and demands are so low here currently there’s a clamour to award him the freedom of Derby for his current body of work. Why move now?
In reality it’s just lazy paper talk

If you're a Newcastle fan at this point, considering the fact they've just been taken over by the richest backers in world football, this really doesn't make any sense whatsoever. I really like how Rooney has conducted himself this season and how he has everyone pulling in the same direction, but if I'm the owner of Newcastle then Rooney doesn't even make my top 50 list - possibly top 100. I'd imagine their fans would sooner give Shearer another go than have Rooney become their manager.

Great perspective; but must be really tempting if you believe in yourself. WR is wise beyond his years so this could be the spark that will propel him…seriously hope he stays but suspect this may develop especially if they give him 3 years…

I don't think we are looking to be treated any different to any one else, in fact we think in some ways we are, but not in a good way.
we accepted a deducted penalty for being 2 weeks late with the wages and found that it was similar to SWFC who hadn't paid wages  for months.
We were fined by the tribunal for the amortisation (which always had the players contracts as nil at the end). The EFL appealed against that not DCFC.
Mel and Pearce (CEO) should have been more transparent about that with the EFL and then things would have been clearer and quicker. I'm trying to pick my words carefully here, but I can see why people would look at the amortisation the way they do.
We had a mad 2 years where we overspent, the legacy was the residual high wages. Our wage bill has been on the small side for the last couple of years and our debt isn't that big when you look at others. I see figures banded around that are not true £35-40m wages bill, that's rubbish its more like £15m.
The stadium sale (not the first to do that) was accepted by the tribunal and not appealed by the EFL.
Our issue re administration is 2 things we have lost the ability to generate income to satisfy the debts  due to Covid and Mel has said he cannot pay the difference. Will we win the appeal, I would say its no more than 50/50, but as Wigan did we have a right to try.
Re the amortisation process, most of the time was due to the EFL not us.
Re P&S/FFP, this is the outcome of the tribunal.  By all accounts we are not over by much (£4-8m), yet we are looking at 9 points + 3 suspended. whereas Reading who are about £50m over are looking at 6 points, BCFC 7 points for being £15m over. SWFC 6 points for larger.
If we have broken the rules and we have, we should be punished but with FFP it needs to be inline with others and it doesn't feel that way. With administration I have 2 feelings, the first is as you put it we are caught fair and square and the other is that there is an appeal system and reasons for having a reduction. We have a case so why not try. The difference could be the staying up and regulation.
We have 3 things that we have been convicted of. Amortisation, Administration and FFP. We have accepted the penalty for the first. Lets see about the second and third but yes we would like to be treated the same as others.
We might just overturn the 12 points but not anymore.  If we get more than I fear that Derby will play their academy and set up for next year in L1. Unfortunately that would not be good for the EFL.
    Lets see

I completely disagree. Their response only strengthens my view that EFL is completely incompetent.
Firstly  - multiple occasions they've dodged questions and fall back on an argument that the current and potential future punishments seek to maintain the 'integrity' of the league. bullpoo. How is the integrity of the league being maintained when we're being forced to play a makeshift team full of academy rookies and retired pros? Its a minor miracle Rooney is doing the job he's doing.
They completely disregard that the club has already been penalized to the point of extinction, and are still pushing for further sanctions which will only to serve to damage the supporters, the local community, and if we're lucky, new owners. The club is on its knees and all they can talk about is maintaining league integrity because 'its what the rules say' - they don't seem to grasp the issue that the rules are not fit for purpose in the first place. They also completely miss the point that our suspended 3 point penalty (for paying players 22 days late) was completely out of whack with what they agreed for Sheff Weds (and other clubs have got off scott free for the same offense in the past).
Also, this whole 'its the benefactor model which is wrong' cr@p needs to end. the EFL and its member clubs are in this financial predicament because the EFL are incompetent commercially, cannot negotiate a proper broadcasting deal, and have bent over and presented themselves to the EPL to take full advantage of. More regulations, such as the cost controls they're talking about, will only serve to broaden the gap between the EPL and EFL. Football either needs to stop being run as a business, or you let those who understand business run the football. You can't go either way.
