Depends whether you're stumped or bowled.

Seemingly every advert break contains an advert for a cure to erectile dysfunction or hair loss treatment.
They've certainly got the demographic pegged. ?

Weather lady this morning said showers on and off rather than all day rain and seemed fairly optimistic.
Would be really nice if Pope and Buttler both got tons.

It’s a shame that the quick turnaround in tests has had such an effect on a threadbare West Indies squad. Their attack has less intensity than at the first test. Roach and Holder still excellent though.

Before we went to Ikea last week, it was the last shop we went to, back in March. We were on holiday in Kings Lynn when Boris announced the lockdown, so the next morning we popped in, bought about £150's worth of beer including all their old stock of Hacker-Pschoor Oktoberfest (the Memsahib's favourite German beer).
It's a fantastic shop, but at the moment it's closed. They are expanding, and plan on doubling the size.
We had an order arrive from there yesterday, and we only ordered it on Sunday - amazing service.
If you like Corsendonk Agnus (and rightly so - it's fantastic), try Corsendonk Gold.

Really enjoyed both of them. Although constant live sport has killed my ability to work from home.

Considering we lost a day that was a bloody good performance. Ben Stokes is on another planet at the minute. When he is in the mood there isn't a player on the planet you would pick ahead of him.

I'm getting a bit sick of the criticism of Sibley for not scoring quick enough / not rotating the strike.
For years we've had batters get out stupidly and excused as 'playing their natural game'. Now they have selected a batter who accumulates runs to try to avoid those rubbish collapses and people just criticise.

Just watched it again and enjoyed it just as much as the first time around. Well worth a watch for anyone that hasn't seen it.

Really enjoying Perry Mason on Sky Atlantic.
Very different from the old one but well-acted and intriguing.

Finished "Little fires everywhere" last night (Prime Video)
Enjoyed this a lot. I thought it went off a little in the middle - it was in danger of sinking to soap opera type storylines but it really picked up again with a devastating and satisfying ending.

Just noticed that BBC2 repeated Marvellous on Wednesday - well worth a watch for anyone who hasn’t seen it. Tells the true story of Neil Baldwin - a man tagged at school with “learning difficulties” who then went on to become a Circus Clown, Lay Preacher, unofficial student greeter at Keele University and Stoke City kit man.
It’s a strange mix of fantasy, musical and biopic with a tremendous performance from Toby Jones playing Neil. On iPlayer for the next month....

Leo Sayer is one of those artists who years ago I avoided like the plague. I found him irritating and naff.
Listening to his songs again now I realise he was and is a real talent. Quite a body of work too.

    Try the Samichlaus Schwarzes.
I picked 3 up from BeersOfEurope the other day, but be warned. They seem to disappear very quickly. Two appear to have evaporated already.

Latest thing for me is massive overuse of the word holistic.
Everything is holistic and has to be accompanied by cupped hands to show the whole.
    Grr!

Having liberties stripped away and our ideas of normal torn up is very unsettling.
But if you think about why we are doing what we are doing, it's because of an appreciation of the importance of life.
Many are realising how much they take for granted and also how we spend time scurrying around doing menial tasks and so little time doing the things which bring joy and comfort.
Do something today which brings a sense of achievement, something which makes you smile and something for somebody else.
The latter is hugely important. If you can help someone else in any way you will start to feel better about yourself.
It's a long journey sometimes but life is precious and starts today and each new day.
