    Bird will only look good if the players in front of him make intelligent runs. If they stare blankly at him while heavily marked he’s going to look ordinary.
    Any numpty can knock it out to the wings. 
    Warne doesn’t seem to appreciate that knocking it wide and getting the big centre forward to bundle it in went out in about 1973.
    We have built a club of good young footballers. All we needed was one or two tougher characters to solve the soft underbelly we sometimes showed in the past.
    We seem to have thrown the baby out with the bath water.
    Too many players slow in thought and deed.
    Plan A should be on the deck. Plan B can be route one.

    He’s not exactly being vilified by thousands on a Saturday. It’s a few on here who are critical.
    I like Bird, I think he’s very talented. He does suit a slightly more advanced position, but not a ‘10’. He wasn’t as good as I thought he’d be last season and needs to do better as he has the talent. But we’ve said that with a few players. It’s time they performed. It could be the manager to blame, teammates etc. but if Birds as good as I think he is, he’ll overcome that and be our best player. Time will tell if he’s capable.

    IMO there's nothing bigger than my Family as individuals, Today I got sopping wet like 1000s of others, Paid to get into PP, Watched a game being played by very rich people, After watching DCFC for some 57 years I find there's more important things in life 👍

    Spot on @RIMBAUD. Reading the post match comments, of course many are angry frustrated and downbeat and I don’t post too soon after a game now, but because we love our club we will continue to support DCFC. Hearing Waghorn and Smith tomorrow…….we will get stronger Rams
