LazloW got a reaction from Gisby in Derby finally accept 21 point deduction.
It’s not dragging on though is it? The administrators made it clear they were hoping things would be sorted by the end of the year. Is it the end of the year yet?
FWIW, I think there is a very good chance that we are going to go down this year. It’s only realistic to make that assumption given all the odds that are stacked against us. But let’s not revel in it. Let’s not gain say every fan who wants to be optimistic and positive about our chances. Let’s not give up hope. That’s what being a fan is about. Otherwise, why bother?

Why does every discussion about other clubs’, or their fans’, behaviour always turn into some form of self flagellation about the behaviour of our club’s, or our fan’s, behaviour.
Sort of reverse whataboutism where we can’t wait to find some other way to criticise ourselves.
In this case it’s particularly daft:
”There was an incident at Millwall where one of our players was abused”
”That’s terrible; assuming it’s a Millwall fan, we should be rightly critical of both the fan and club for making/allowing such things to happen”
”Whoa, hold on a minute, Derby fans have done and said some pretty bad things in the past, and the club has been very naughty lately, so it wouldn’t be right to criticise… We don’t want to be hypocritical”.
”You what? Should we not highlight and criticise any form of abuse, in any form, whoever made it and not be so f’ing precious about every utterance that is expressed in this forum just in case somebody might shine a light on our own failings?”
”No. We are Derby fans and thus must only ever be critical of Derby County”

The fact is, if we grab a couple of wins then it's all there for us again. There are 87 points to play for after all and if we can turn in performances akin to the way we played against Millwall then we can still escape the clutches of the evil EFL. In the interim...

It’s not so much that what he says isn’t untrue, just the gusto and apparent pleasure he takes in saying it that rankles!

LazloW reacted to Crewton in Discriminatory abuse
The first 8 posts on the thread are about the 'incident' on Saturday. The vast majority of the rest are about our fans behaviour and similar societal issues, so in my view it has deflected from that specific incident.
As far as the suggestion that it was racial abuse, given the location it happened, I'm content to use Occam's Razor to determine the most likely answer. And to be frank, I really don't care if that is discriminatory to Millwall fans because they are in denial about it as usual anyway.

LazloW reacted to Bris Vegas in Derby finally accept 21 point deduction.
We’re down already. Only chance we have is if the gap is down to seven points maximum by January.
But if anything, it looks like it will be bigger.
We needed at least midtable form to have a chance. But we’re in relegation form regardless of the points deduction.

If Morrison passed to him on the many occasions he has been free in acres of space and free to run in on goal maybe he could make more of an impression ?

Yeah, Boro have been flying under Colin.
People also called for Hughton. How did he do at Forest?
Or Big Sam. Did he save the Albion?
The problems at Derby are deeper than the current choice of manager.

I'd wager that you couldn't name 10 other goalkeepers in the division, let alone be in a position to comment on how good they are in comparison to our goalkeepers.
