SDSR was proper ITK a few years ago. Around the time of Sam Rush actually. Mmmmm, maybe he’s heard summat from a source of a rival bidder!

I think we all need to calm the fook down.  Today is the deadline, today there will be 3 offers from the interested parties.  How do I know this, its simple, we hard 3 parties interested in buying the club but wanyed Boro settled.  Its settled, therefore the interested parties will submit thier offers today.
Q will review and present PB to EFL on Mon and announce late Mon or early Tues would be a realistic timeline in my view....  It could be quicker, but at the speed these negotiations have gone, I'd very much doubt it....

Provided Quantuma can prove funding for another month, they give us another deadline. If we don't have funding, it's likely we'll fold anyway.

It was agreed within the framework of the rules at the time...... I doubt we will challenge it tbh and I'm hopeful we will survive by more than 2 points given a bit of the rub of the green (no more injuries or suspensions). So doesn't matter.
I did get the impression the EFL could have imposed a bigger points deduction due to our losses after re stating the accounts,  which again had to be questioned why not it is also a rule change to say straight line is a requirement..... but with agreeing not to challenge either the administration deduction the P+S one would be capped at -9. If true then we wouldn't want to have it re looked at anyway.

On another point, the EFL understanding of our policy, I thought I'd seen reports from pre investigation that they had said along the lines of, "ok, but won't this cause you a bigger issue down the line when you have to disproportionately write off more of the player values in the last year" which if yhey did, shows a clear understanding of our amortisation policy?

    Absolute vacuous twaddle.
It would be more accurate to say that "it's cost an enormous amount of time and money to find an accounting opinion prepared to agree with our arbitrary pre-determined outcome".
Parrys words "simple clarification so that there can be no room for doubt" essentially confirm your point David. That is, the clear implication was that there WAS doubt. So with that logical deduction, what is the basis for taking retrospective action?
Complete drivel from a washed up self-serving buffoon without a shred of integrity.

    Hi David,
Could you ask him if he is going to review our points deduction punishments as these changes clearly favours our rivals and if not explain the fans will be pressing the Administrators to place an appeal in based on retrospective rule changes mid way through a season that disproportionately punish 2 clubs.....
    Thanks

True, but, they signed off believing there would be no rule changes.  EFL have moved the goal posts.
My original point is we should not of had to restate the accounts, becuase it appears our amortisation policy, was within the rules or why vote in a change to using the straightline amortisation policy....
    Rotten to the core!!!!

Who says we have to actually appeal our agreed decision? We can challenge the EFL’s right to change rules mid-season, we can challenge their lack of good faith in not informing us that there was a potential rule change going to happen, we can challenge them not enforcing the rules as written at the time of the offence for other clubs etc etc.

Now they’ve admitted that our original amortisation method wasn’t against the rules (as we all knew) can we resubmit our original accounts which wouldn’t have breached P&S by as much (so would result in a smaller points deduction) and also point out that by their admitting COVID has had a significant impact on club finances should mean that they shouldn’t have penalised us so heavily (if at all) for going into administration…..

ANyone who doubts that EFL has been trying too hard to penalise Derby needs to understand a few things.

After the Bury debacle EFL was already under an existential threat.  They were heavily criticised amongst many other things for failing to stop the Bury owner.

So they tried to stop Mel Morris, who was,  to be fair, finding a lot of loopholes in the FFP rules. But instead of closing the loopholes then, (as they now have six years too late) they tried to go after Derby for historic "breaches". None of which were in fact breaches , just taking advantage of existing loopholes.
Then their actions became ever  more desperately self justifying and in fact self fulfilling. Because they (and Boro) were after us, Morris couldn't sell the club . So we would have ended up failing FFP anyway as his plan to write off losses was wrecked too. And then we went into admin and couldn't find a buyer until eventually the logjam was broken this month. If it hadnt been, Q would have taken EFL  to court and won I believe.. the Morris/Gibson "accord" saved face for everyone.
The EFL's desperate attempts to penalise us and to justify themsleves is so extreme and comes about because EFL knows that they are on borrowed time. The game is up for them and they will have maybe 18 months or so before their regulatory powers are taken away. Long overdue. In the meantime, they will blame anyone and everyone.. Morris, Quantuma, Rams fans , Derby's commercial property valuers, Derby's auditors,  anyone and everyone's fault except their own.

Announcing a rule change to make all clubs use the straight line Amortisation method.  Hang on a minute, how can that be a rule change if thats what we've been punished for.
I can see an instant appeal going in, 9 points back, plus damages for blocking Mels previous sales as Boro and Wycombe would of had no case.....
EFL really are thick as pig shiiiite....
