If it's an agreed outcome we may not get the full details publiclly available, but you'd think there'd a be a joint wording agreed. Perhaps something like:
"The recalculated P&S information produced by DCFC as instructed by DC2 showed a breach of P&S spending limits. Given the unusual nature of the investigation and breaches relating to previous seasons and corrective actions were not taken at the time they ordinarily would have been taken, it has been agreed with the club (in line with EFL rule 85) that a penalty of -9 points will be applied this season, with a further 3 points suspended, pending future conduct. A business plan has also been agreed with the club to amend it's current and expected position with regards to P&S. The agreement represents what both parties have agreed is a final conclusion to the issue. We thank the administrators of DCFC for coming to agreement with the EFL to resolve the issue and wish them every chance in securing new ownership and a long term future for Derby County."

Derby as a club wont cease to exist at all, however the outcome or future there will still be a presence. The infratstructure and potential is too big for it to just stop,
yes its a poo situation BUT come on FFS all this negativity etc etc.
how I see it we either own the stadium or are due the money from it, its worthless as anything other than a football stadium.
in a months time it will be better  and we can start to see what the future holds but its not the end!!!

if it is liquidated what does everyone think happens to a ready made empty football club/training ground, that infrastruture doesnt disappear.]

somebody comes along and gets an absolute steal,
worst case scenario is MSD have to sell that stadium to someone to cover the debt, its worth nothing sat empty and nothing for the 3 years it would take to redevelop.

DCFC will still exist in some capacity in 3 /6 months and 60 more years, It will not dissappear the best everyone can do is show support and be positive

    how this now looks

Basically all the interested parties have thought we would get relegated by points deduction, so admin is to tidy it all up

I thought it really interesting that the administrators hold the view also that football is broken and particularly the championship that has a huge percentage of members who are overspending to try and get to the untold riches of the premier league.

could the argument of the £80m value be used if he sold it back to the new owner for £40

surely if the main tenant is in administration the asset value reduces??

    my point exactly
and IF lehman brothers were a football club do you think it would still exist once that debt is gone..............
    and of course it will
if its liquidated somebody will buy the brand, renegoite PP/Moor farm and there good to rebuild knowing there is a baseline revenue from at least 15,000 hard core fans....

league 1 avg attendance according to google is 11,300, championship is 16,500.
yes its not ideal but somebody will be getting a bargain once this is all said and done.................the cost of that is yet to be determined and its a massive mark/stain in the history, but its only a chapter not the end of the book!!!!

30000+ fans don’t just disappear. Granted we wouldn’t get 20K + gates but we’d have a core 10-15k at least and there will be odd games where we’d sell 25-30k. A lot would depend on the terms on which we get the ground.
If we did have to ground share with Notts/Chesterfield- we’d sell out those grounds regularly - huge advantage over the other teams.
It’s in no ones interest for Derby to be in division 10 and win every single game (could happen), so I think there would be a negotiation with the National League about what division to start in, I wouldn’t be surprised if we ended up in the conference, but more likely conference north (div 6), or worst case (div 7).

If we became a Phoenix club we’d be back in the championship in 10 years. If we end up in League 2, 5 years, League 1, anything between 1 and 3 years IMO. If Luton can get back we can - we’ve only spent 5 season in 3rd division in our history.
