since we went to 3 at the back weve lost once and that was todays gallant effort
give warn a proper pre season and a chance to get some more suitable players in and we’ll be cooking

weve a v good manager and will have something we havent had for a long long time. The same manager recruiting over a summer for a side hes worked with for best part of a season.. mad right?
we will play warnes preferred 3 at the back next year i can almost gurentee it.
we will have more pace and power in the side and we will be able to rattle sides in a way that on occasions we have been at times.. particularly on the road.

He's been an excellent servant for the club. Ultimately not making the playoffs isnt just about today its about dropping silly points.

I was expecting a linda stevie howard esq sort of striker, a real bully but i think hes not really lived up to that… hes been fine.. given where weve come from.
i think his hold up play is atrocious tbh, his touch and next pass 9/10 is the wrong ball and turns over possesion.
but im not here to bash him, he gives his all and has done a job for us.

I came away last night thinking that was a pretty good away performance but you wouldn't think so reading this thread. For a team struggling for form I thought the formation, changes and performance were more than deserving of the three points. Quite liked having Sibley and NML more central, gave us the opportunity to run at them inside instead of whacking aimless balls down the flanks (which there were still too many - Fozzy especially, just brain dead football). Davies was colossal, Knight had his work cut out at RB with a pair of tricky left wing backs and the rest of the team were generally tidy and competed. 
The only disappointment was JW dropping one in the net - the last 10 shouldn't have been that tight but we do like to make things hard for ourselves. Felt like Dobbin had a chance to seal it but maybe from our angle it wasn't as bigger chance as it felt at the time.
On JW's antics - didn't mind it (proper under the cosh) but don't want to see too much of it if we can help. The fiasco with the Exeter player was laughable but I'm not sure you can hammer JW for it. Idiotic on their players part when chasing the game, probably the most naive thing I've seen since Collins slapped that Port Vale player in the face. Only themselves to blame. He left a bit on JW second time around so would have been more than happy for JW to milk it again to be honest.
Exeter looked a bit disjointed, similar to how we have looked recently. Too many sloppy passes going out of play/straight through to JW but to be fair we pressed ok, especially second half. Never felt that threatened all game but they did have a great chance first half where JW has dug us out. Tidy enough team though.  
Whisper it quietly, 3 at the back is unbeaten in 4...
 

We've some of our own could do with polish. I've nothing against Dobbin and agree pace can be a threat to defences. 

I’ve been banging the same drum about Dobbin all season. He could definitely be better with his finishing and final ball, I suspect that composure and decision making will come in time and he’ll have a decent career in football.  
He currently offers an option in the squad that differs slightly to our other attacking players and that’s a good thing for me. He has raw pace to burn, can dribble at pace also, and it gives the opposing defenders a different threat to consider than say a Barkhuizen or Sibley or Collins. 
Not saying any one player is better than any other, just that Dobbin’s pace is an asset to this squad, he has contributed to games already this season and can continue to do so until the season ends. 

Id argue even with little end product its still a threat .. clearly and obviously an end product is desirable but pace even alone is still a threat and useful tool.
theres been plenty of god awful footballers who have been blessed with pace that have fashioned much more successful careers than players with twice their skillset 
obviously its desirable to have a player with both, but we’re in a position now where we’re going to have to accept as a fanbase we need to be patient and see if warne can polish a few rough diamonds

speed kills at any level, yes his production is “iffy” to say the least but hes always a threat and a v solid option coming off the bench, especially when we’re defending a lead but want to maintain an on the break threat as was previous stated by caphillyram was it?

i remember when they appointed him swansea fans we’re like he plays dull ass football, limited, stagnant and defensive.
well its coming home to roost
they recruited phenomenally last season,davies, garner the foreign chap who fozzy nobbled, cook etc etc 
Ontop of what was already a strong expensive squad that had been underachieving.
they played the same sit back soak it up s*** they are now but with 20 goal a season grabban and johnson on fire they pulled it off , thanks to a whacking slice of var help in the final.
now like at swanse with lesser players his football is being found out as utterly tepid and inept.
keep him, if they go down and coopers still there theyll be expected to blow sides away with their parachute money and expectation. 
0-0 home draws to rotherham and bristol city whilst playing 10 behind the ball wont be acceptable anymore
cant wait get f****** down and lets enjoy the show
