which invariably works, and has the Warne outers ripping their own teeth out in frustration.

Leonard has had 3 goals and two assists in @830 mins of football this season and at Championship level too. That's a goal contribution every 170 minutes or so which ain't shabby, though I concede I know nothing of him first hand.
Promising as Dajaune is, he's only started one game for Gateshead as yet. He deserves a chance to acclimatise to men's football in a slightly less pressure-cooker-type environment than he'd experience in our men's team right now. Also, Collo was not injured at the time and would have been the starting at 9 more games than not.

Brown has hardly played and hasn't scored for Gateshead. Is he ready for Division one ? No.

I'm hoping we play to his strengths rather than make him fit our formation (whatever that is). He won't have lost his ability I bet it's more to do with how he's been played.

Imo that's not an excuse for him. He has been used in various roles because under several managers he has not been deemed good enough in them attacking ones. Adams has come in, taken him 3 game's to show he is the best suited for that role, whereas Sibley hasn't and others perform better in that position.
As I said, my opinion, but rumours has it he has been offered around and we had no takers, come summer on a freebie, he should have them jumping for his signature if he is that good.

Apologies, the point I was making is that you don't need a run of games to prove the shirt is yours. I think Sibley over the years under various different managers, has had plenty of opportunities in his favoured role, if it takes him 45 minutes to get into a game, that's a luxury you can't afford imo.

Personally think he is best utilised as a sub when the game is more open. He may have the most contributions stats wise however this doesn't tell the same story as watching the game. Unfortunately he isn't involved within the game as an attacking player for me and therefore sometimes it's like playing with a player less.
I remember him breaking through and thought he was going to be the next big thing, still may be, his love for the club is clear, his desire is also there wherever he puts on the shirt is never on doubt.

However he hasn't been able to hold down a regular place under several managers, he hasn't got people knocking down the door to take him to their club and therefore is at a crossroads of his career in the summer. Hopefully for him, wherever he ends up, he can kick on with his career but a change may be what is needed.

Absolutely he should get a chance in the championship if he gets us promoted. Would be pretty harsh to sack him if he got us promoted.

Alternatively a clean sheet, another 3 points against a team 7th in the league, 2nd in the league by 3 points and a good goal as well.

The standards are what they are really, a club getting back on his feet, under an EFL business plan, following nearly going out of business less than 2 years ago after being relegated to the third tier of English football following a 21 point deduction.

Never hid behind anything, I left because I was getting involved in the COVID thread, where the same posters had the same arguments every day and refused imo to change stance depending on which side of the fence they sat (Me included).
I came back to give some insight based on being around the academy and unfortunately have got involved again, in what sometimes feels like Groundhog Day, just a different subject. I said at the time, I have no real affiliation to PW, more stability around the club and not going down the same route as the previous owner.
IMO I think he is doing a good job, but then I had never heard of him before he came to us, so I really don't care what he did before joining us.

Hang on...it's well documented how they tried to get a striker in, and well documented why it didn't happen. It would have been negligent not to try, but nonpoint signing a striker who wouldn't bring anything to the party.
We have 4 strikers. All injured. Nit Warne's fault.
We'll make do until we get one back, and we'll try to sign a free agent. All sound and sensible to me.
