  1. This scathing assessment of City fans from the red half of the town has got to be up there.

You think that your moustache is trendy,

You think your Kicker boots are too.

With your Kangol and your fleece,

    Ben Sherman on for weeks,

    We know that you’re a f****** Blue!

    See also:

If you come from Manchester you’re sure to be a blue,

    Moston, Collyhurst. Salford, Ancoats too.

And if you think that this is true, you’re nothing but a fool,

’Cos in the town of Manchester, Man United rule!

    Nanananaaaaa, we all hate Ciiiiiity!

United’s song book is unrivalled, to be honest.

So as a Stockport resident I’m surrounded by one of the other ‘County’s’ and I’m very happy for the local community and high spirits. I’m a happy Ram but clearly it’s all on hold for a long week

I’ve just moved to Edgeley - I’ll be even happier for the local community (us two) come next week 😉🤞🏻

I have found it impossible to renew my season ticket online. Every time I fill in all required details and press the pay button, a full screen message appears urging me to make sure the transaction is safe and secure. There is no option given to enable the transaction to complete and no option to remove or bypass the message. As a result the website times out and the transaction cancels .This has happened with cards from both Halifax Bank and Lloyds Bank . I have since spoken to DCFC ticket office and I was able to renew using my credit card with no problem. The club say they are not aware of an issue and have promised to investigate. Anyone else had this problem?

Is it not asking you to confirm the payment via your mobile banking app? I believe the words “safe and secure” are in the message when it asks this iirc.

Nah, Kid Super is a yank. He may have some connection with the stateside ownership portion of Barnsley, potentially, but he's nothing to do with Barnsley themselves.

Fair enough! Thought I’d read there was a local connection, obviously not. Either way, we should be safe.

It’s impressive how they found room for four bad design ideas all at the same time!

They were designed in collaboration with a fashion designer called Kid Super (from Barnsley, I believe). Thankfully they’ll be nowhere near ours. An absolute abomination.

There is an element of that in the decision making process of manufacturers.

Mentioning this person might upset a few people on here, but Kieran Maguire has explained it quite well on his podcast. Basically, it is less profitable for the manufacturers to create shirts with a custom template if they aren't producing many. Therefore, for 'bigger' teams where they will be producing tens of thousands and even millions its alright, whereas for 'smaller' teams it is cheaper to get a template then stick a badge on.

However, there are a number of small teams who have had bespoke kits in recent years. For example, Chesterfield had a bespoke home and away kit this season and revealed a bespoke home shirt for next season (I think their away one is a template). Puma seem to design some decent bespoke kits, even for league and non league teams. This years Chesterfield shirt had the crooked spire on the design, while York City's kit last season had the York minster cathedral built into the design. It would be really good to have a kit inspired by something related to the city of Derby.

Chesterfield’s isn’t a bespoke kit per-se, rather a blank template with a custom graphic printed on top of the fabric which is extremely cheap and easy for to do.

It seems @Comrade 86 that your match preview has gone down about as well as a turd in a Jambalaya on the Wycombe forum.

You'd think, living in High Wycombe, they'd appreciate a bit of humour to take their minds off parking problems and the lack of affordable housing, but seemingly not.

It's like we're supposed to be grateful or some-such.

This fella has us sussed, to be fair.

If it is Puma from next season, I'd love to see a retro range similar to what Umbro have done this year.

Umbro have a licensing agreement with Score Draw who produce and distribute all the retro shirts. No such deal in place with Puma, sadly.

Whilst the very slow mo version shows the ball hitting Gayle's arm, it's hardly cheating  nor is he a con man. Harsh words, imo.

Likewise the goalkeeper may have looked almost stationary to you in a slow mo replay, in real time he was thundering out of his goal.

    So, a refereeing mistake.

Now, who benefitted from a refereeing mistake against us earlier in the season?

By the same referee, no less.

I will also keep a close eye on this, but not because I am Hereford based (sorry!). It’s more that I’ve often wondered about regional Rams groups, and how to access those easily for people who are “exiled” as you put it.

I wonder if someone like @angieramor another connected to RamsTrust might know if there is a network of regional fan groups?

I’ve often pondered over the idea of setting up something for North West. Watching this thread with interest.

As an ex-serviceman the discord over it in recent weeks and even years disgusts me. So many people that I find truly repulsive attempting to hijack the cause for their own gain, to the point where I've totally disconnected from it all.

Ex-Navy here. Me too - I haven’t worn a poppy in years and the current climate in which Remembrance Day is used to evoke some sense of blind nationalism, whilst our government aids the bombing of civilians in other countries, has reinforced my commitment to never wear one again.

That said - if you do, fair enough. Displays like this always feel fairly crass to me but I don’t see any reason why it shouldn’t have been allowed to go ahead.

Hope Rammie will be wearing his poppy to make up for it. #respect.

  12. "You get the sense that DC is in no particular rush, and PW has time here"

    ....

"He does, and we have that on good authority that PW is going to be given the time for this process. There's a reason they picked someone like PW because they realise that when it got tough that he could hang in there and get it going again, because he's been there and done it in this division. It might not be very popular, but PW is going to be the man here who get's the time to try and get it right."

    Radio Derby just now.

I saw the ‘highlights’ yesterday and found it very frustrating seeing empty seats in the away end when it was a sell out. Was it the usual muppets just drinking in the concourses during the game, standing in the aisles or no shows. Frustrating having an away membership you can never use and seeing empty seats.

Quite why i would want to go away from home at the moment I can’t really say but still!

No trains running from Derby yesterday probably had something to do with that.
