Great performance!
Am I wrong or do we fairly often put in good performances against WBA for some reason?

Wins will come if the lads keep performing like this, no worries! It ain't like other teams have better finishers than us, it's only that lady fortuna seems to mess around a bit with us. We'll be alright as long as the management team and the players keep calm an carry on. COYR!

Tbh it's the very least I would expect. But as you say, if we are doing it and others are not, well kudos.
This is something I try to teach my 6-year olds and put great pride in. Made my day reading that!

Hmm, maybe it might take a few more weeks getting a newly assembled squad to get used to each other as well as how they need to play in order to create and capitalize more in the final third? We have managed to get hold of the ball a lot, gets a fair few corners and aren't overly troubled at the back. Seems like a good foundation early on to me.
That said, a little more tweaks, in-form players, urgency and risk awareness might do us some good though ?.
Onwards and upwards! We took a point from home, almost unthinkable a few months ago!

The lack of stamina actually proves the importance of a good old preseason. I must admit being surprised how much we seem to lose in quality around the hour mark in the games so far. Small margins at the professional levels I guess? Probably need to prioritize our "runners" a bit and somehow make up for lost time during training in the upcoming weeks.
This might actually be quite good since we probably have 1 or 2 extra gears which we haven't seen yet!

Phew! Could easily been a draw but let's take it! Great defending by Cashin and Knight first and foremost. Great victory in the end.

Ok half, just need to play the easy pass a bit more. Their defense seems a bit worried each time we enter the final third so let's play nice an easy until they can start panicking would do it!

Anybody know if there are issues with Rams TV?
Works fine for me (fingers crossed)

Newcastle Utd, really dislike how they managed to turn a proper club to whatever they now should be described as.
(Apart from Leeds, Nottingham and Birmingham off course).

Think Stretton just needs to get a good run of games together and stay fit for 20+ games. From what I've seen he seems to be a finisher of high quality and otherwise fairly allround. Think there are some great forwards in history with similar attributes and not all have been the finished article around 20. Best of luck Jack, express yourself and get some goals at Carlisle before you come back stronger ?

Seems like Buchanan and Byrne left us in a sticky situation since Rosenior have had players lined up for evry role except fullbacks? Probably counted on these two for the upcoming season. Not impressed by their actions at all leaving their team members like that. Hopefully Rosenior kan pull another rabbit out of the hat soon?

Thompson for me. Quick modern player with attitude and engine but he also seems to be gradually improving and still might add some tricks to his game. Would not surprise me if he became a reliable starter in various roles this season. Always seems to put in a shift when called upon.
-
Forgive and forget I guess? Always seemed to give his best on the field but greed must have hit him. No point spending energy on players like that but might serve as a good reminder of how loyal some of the other players in the squad actually is. Knight, Sibley, Bielik et.al earns their praise for being a part of the rebuild.

Curtis is the kind of character you can build on. It's easy to be part of success, but adversity tests you and Curtis, Stearman and Rosenior all come out with the highest marks according to me at least. Great that the club values loyalty and attitude, a proud day!

Hi all!
Just wanted to come by and thank you all for this marathon thread which I have spent far too many hours following. Great finish of a Rollercoaster thread (only matched by the legendary George Thorne Thread).
So happy to be able to keep follow the mighty rams from afar which i have been doing since the late 90's. For me it really dosen't matter which division we play as long the pride and passion is alive & present.
And also big thanks for this forum, it's been great for me since there aren't too many Rams supporters around where i live. You all do a terrific job you mods and posters.
Best wishes to you all from afar
