Agree.  He is here on a two year deal.  At the end of the two year, he and DCFC have no obligation to one another.
I hope he carries on until the end of the season, and decisions from both parties will clearly be made.  It will hardly be on a level with Brian Clough leaving.  More, that's a shame...anyway, who are we replacing him with?...

Isn't the last game always a 12:30 (or thereabouts) kick off? So no surprise really.

If we do go up you’ll be fine next season as most away ends will accommodate around 3k. Expect 🌳 to go back to 2k though.

Indeed.  I'm 6ft 4.  If I am in front of you, you will see nothing.  I feel guilty standing for the players walking out and the "Steve Bloomer song", let alone the whole game.
I know I'm in the minority, but I do think going back to standing is a retrograde step.  Like those who want to go back to no health and safety; dubious child-rearing techniques and Fahrenheit as it seems nostalgic.

Don’t know why folk engage with this troll (not you Caerphilly ) or the Ap04 one. Doesn’t matter how good your argument is they will come up with more nonsense. Not worth reading or replying to their posts

Sorry I made the mistake of thinking forums were the place for discussion.
Maybe you could answer the question posed by @angieram  Why, given the choice has the seat tickets sold out before the standing tickets.

Indeed.  I suppose with Billy we never had the opportunity to strengthen after what was of itself a miraculous promotion.  I think, with all restrictions removed, will have the opportunity to buy players to cement us in the division.
What matters is that we get up.

I said: The second thing to consider is the linesman is directly in line with Waghorn.  He had the perfect "live" view and said there was nothing untoward.

What the linesman  saw I do not know.  What I do know is that the linesman was a few paces to the side of Elder, directly in line with the action.  Maybe there was an obstructed view, but he was directly in line.  He was watching the action.  He did not see it.

I spent twenty minutes this morning slowing it down on the replay, watching frame by frame.  It was impossible to tell whether at the moment the ball was level with his hand that it was actually at his hand or a second before.  Unless you have the ultra HD of the Premier League, it is impossible to tell.  Even a VAR system wouldn't disallow it as it was not clear and obvious.

It is clearly sour grapes from them (and take the heat off a defeat with whataboutery.  As you say, if there had been deviation it would be hard to argue against.

Apologies if any of this is a repeat of what's already been said but haven't had time to catch up with the thread yet.
Firstly hats off to Bolton, thought they came and had a decent go. They are probably licking their wounds wondering how they didn't go home with something from that game. I won't begrudge them that as they were much improved from the reverse fixture. Wasn't that impressed with them that day.
Having said all that I don't want to take away from the shift all of the boys put in. Cashin, Fozzy and Nelson in particular were immense. Fozzy quite rightly the MoM. To put in that level of performance after being out so long was beyond impressive.
Big shout out to Wildsmith too. Two world class saves gave us a platform on which that victory was built.
Absolutely buzzing with that result. Won't be getting much sleep tonight as my adrenaline levels are off the scale.. Trying my best not to get carried away as there will be more twists and turns yet but we are firmly in the driving seat. Every club in that division barring Pompey would love to be in our position right now.
You beautiful bloody Rams. You've caused us all so much heartache  over the years but it just makes moments like this all the sweeter.

The ref had a decent game today in such an important game.
He should have given Ward a yellow card early on for a clear pull and inexplicably pulled us back a couple of times when we had a clear advantage, although not in a dangerous position, but nothing that seemed to have any effect on the result.
