1Wildsmith            6.  Had little to do. Good save one on one. Bad error for second goal.

35Nelson              6  Best of a shaky back three. Like many others distribution could have been better.

5Bradley               5.  Bad error. Seemed to get his studs caught in the grass? Looked vulnerable when balls played over the top.

6Cashin                5.  Some good tackles but distribution shocking. Did not look confident.

14Washington      6.  Introduced too late to effect the game.

23Ward                7.  Only one who seemed to have any pace. Some good crosses.

2Wilson                6  Looked lively as a sub. Probably will be the tactic for him to replace Ward in second half.

12Smith                4  Very disappointing. Little energy no effect on the game.

Bird                      4  Very disappointing. Said to have had a great pre-season in the advanced role - but not today. Wasted.

Hourihane            5 Some useful corners but lost midfield battle.

3Forsyth              6 Good goal unlucky with second effort. Crossing poor.

Elder                    6 Looked lively as a late sub.

9Collins               5 Missed a couple of early chances. Some good work but in the wrong areas for a CF.

11Méndez-Laing 5 One good effort but main asset (speed) totally lost in that central role.

Thompson          6 Like all the other late subs looked lively.

It would certainly bring into question Paul Warnes 'pull' if a player who has previously played for Derby, lives near Derby and has been training with Derby for 3 weeks goes and signs for a club 2 hours up the road 😆

Not really. Disappointing - yes but Warne said in an interview a few days ago that Waggy was welcome to train but if he was offered something elsewhere then he would go with Warne's good wishes.

Maybe Blackpool have offered a two year deal ?

Was talking to my source yesterday there appears to be some truth in the Smith rumours. Another new name has been suggested and I’m unsure if the fans will like it but my source mentioned an old head battler type  in midfield on an year deal apparently has fallen out with the new manager and Warne has been in contact with him since about a week  ago. I won’t name him but is small , very mouthy and highly experienced and slightly receding hairline. Yes he has a beard

    Bannan ?

  4. 1Wildsmith                    8.5   My MoM. Worldie save to prevent 0-2.

    3Forsyth                        6

Collins                            7.5   Took his goal really well. Where has that been all season?

33Davies                       7.5    Great header for the assist. Did nothing wrong.

    6Cashin                         7

    8Bird 🦅                        6

    Smith                             6

4Hourihane                   8    Seemed to be involved in everything.

White                             6    Only had 10 minutes.

15Roberts                     6    Needed better crosses from him

17Sibley                        5    Thought maybe that early knock he took effected his game.

Dobbin                          4   No effect on game. Seems to have lost commitment these last two months.

11Mendez-Laing          3   Thought his poorest game. Nothing he tried worked. Lacked confidence.

Barkhuizen                   5  Little effect on the game.

10McGoldrick               7  Really unlucky when hitting the post from range in the 3rd minute.

  5. Thought NML had probably his poorest game for Derby yesterday. Nothing he tried worked!!

He has pace though and let's face it we do not have that many alternatives. Barkuisen and Dobbin have not effected games when they have come on as subs. Indeed for me Dobbin has not been the same since being dropped a couple of months ago. When he does come on he just doesn't seem as committed as he was in the first half of the season.

On a separate note, obviously I don’t know her personal circumstances and maybe she has to catch the last bus home or something but, there is a lady a few rows in front of me in the East Stand that always leaves with at least 10 minutes remaining. Today she left on 77 minutes so there was at least 15 minutes left to play in a finely balanced and very important game.🤷🏻‍♂️

Yes Tamworth you must sit near me, she has been doing that since PP opened, yet she goes to all away games.

A few years back after a match I did see her sitting on the front seat of one of the supporter buses waiting outside. Strange?

They were under no obligation to review or lighten the restrictions in January.

It's a punishment and we must complete our sentence.

It won't be lifted in the summer.

It won't be lifted next January either.

This is all signed off, agreed with the EFL and what the situation is.

Warne isn't complaining, neither is Clowes. Everyone is just getting on with it.

You are of course correct in what you say and I know it has been agreed by Clowes but for me the punishment is wrong.

The EFL are punishing a new owner, a new manager and continuing to punish the Fans. I'm all for the EFL continuing to monitor DCFC finances but surely the 21 point deduction and relegation should have been the punishment. Why punish a new Owner?

If I, with my billions had takeover a Club I would have wanted the Club to benefit from my wealth ie by buying new players.

The EFL could have continued to monitor 'spending' against income so as not to see another MM situation but to ban spending on players for 2 years for me is just wrong.

  8.                                 Wildsmith

               Rooney   Cashin   Forsyth   Roberts

                               Smith      Bird

                                  Hourihane

                Barkhuizen      McG     Dobbin

Subs - Sibley. Thompson, NML, Collins, White, Springett, McGee.

A bit like the Battle of Britain - All 18 fighters are airborne we have no more !!!

Davies, Stearman & Chesters congrats on great careers.

Need more 'bite' in midfield.  ( oh for a Shinnie type).

I thought it was only ten, but even so....

    A very frustrating afternoon (again!)

I'd be interested not know how long the ball was actually in play for that second half in total? I would guess 20 minutes or that's what it seemed like.

Only ourselves to blame though. Conceding that goal so early the second half gave them energy and for me it was a definite penalty. A clear push.

Thought Shrewsbury were very poor defensively and especially in the first half we should have put the game to bed.

Plymouth is going to be a toughie !!

  10. 1Wildsmith                     7      Did what he had to.

    12Smith                          7.5   Good match

    3Forsyth                         7.5   Mr Reliable

6Cashin                         8.0   MoM just for his goal. Back to normal thank goodness.

    17Sibley                          7     Did OK.

23White                          7.5  Excellent debut and close to MoM for me even after that shocking tackle on him.

    Roberts                           6

4Hourihane                     7.5 Excellent game benefited from the 3 midfield.

7Barkhuizen                    7.5 Thought he a a very good game but should have scored.

18Dobbin                         5  Took a heavy tackle (foul). Not so effective.

38Knight                          7.5 What energy. Another to benefit from the 3 midfield.

11Mendez-Laing             7   Better game without the end product. Another to take a heavy foul.

22Springett                     6   Always looks lively when he comes on.

10McGoldrick                  7  Could easily have had another hat trick

9Collins                           6  Good physical presence. Just lacks goal threat at moment.

    Normal service resumed thank goodness.

Need to take our chances though could easily have been 4 or 5. Gave Charlton limited opportunities.

    Well done lads.

I can remember when pp first opened me and my sister were in west stand all of east stand were standing up in there way back in the day.

    Rubbish B4.

I've SAT in East Stand (middle) since Pride Park opened. People do stand - but only until the match starts !! ?

  12. Well I've sat in Lower East Stand middle since 1997 but today I did notice all the security / stewards in yellow hi-viz along the front seemed about every 8 foot ?  Seemed far more than usual.

Whats going on? Are they expecting the whole of the East Stand to invade the pitch ?

    I left in '79.

Our friend @Henrycav81 was a bit behind me... age, grades, footy skills... pretty much all aspects, to be fair!  ?

    *Watch him deny it!  ?

    Ah you youngsters !!!

You ought to have been there in the tough old days of 60 - 65 when boys were men and girls were , well, girls ?

Was Jimmy Lingard rip still around in your day (bar steward ?) ?

  14. 1Wildsmith                    7    Did nothing wrong. couple of good saves.

12Smith                        5     not his recent self. arguing with NML a lot first half

3Forsyth                      7.5     just MoM on basis of fewer mistakes

6Cashin                       3     Just very poor. Worst he has played.

15Roberts                   3     Again very poor, nothing like his last few games

17 Sibley                     6    A few wayward crosses but at least got forward. Hit crossbar.

38Knight                   5    Maybe early booking effected his game. Not usual self.

4Hourihane                6   Steady when most around him were falling apart

11Mendez-Laing       5   Not much joy against his fullback. Lucky not to be subbed.

10McGoldrick           6   Seemed to be trying too hard but still our most likeliest scorer.

18Dobbin                  5  Showed good pace at times bit unlucky to be subbed.

7Barkhuizen             6  Should have scored and super cross for Didzy 'goal'

9Collins                    6  Thought he was ok in a poor first half, without threatening to score (as usual)

23White                   6  Added some composure to midfield.

What an awful match to watch. Thought Lincoln did a good job on Derby first half by closing us down. Far too many not 'on song'. Slow build up , poor passing. Lincoln a yard quicker to the ball. Never seen Cashin play so poorly, concerning, didn't think he had that in him. West Stand Linesman shockingly bad. Still should have won it second half. Not Warne's best tactical match.  We move on.
