There's always a story in a family Hollywood film where the brave character pursues his true beliefs in the face of others who discredit him, and in the end he's proved right and his doubters must make a grovelling apology, for he is now the hero. He is one of our very few players that has the potential to make a difference next season, if he maintains his fitness then he'll bag 20 without breaking a sweat... We'll have to wait and see, I feel Waghorn would be his replacement... Steve Davies could be a 20 goal a season striker, the only reason he didn't achieve it this year was injuries, and before that.. injuries. My gripe is that there is at probably 20 other players in the team I'd sooner see leave before him, What like Adel Taarabt, Scott Sinclar, Tom Ince, Alex Baptiste, Matt Phillips, Adam le Fondre etc. Le Fondre, played hell of a lot more and scored the same amount of goals... as I said, it remains to be seen.
