Sky Sports understands Derby are considering several offers for midfielder James Bailey.

Bailey is currently on the transfer list at Pride Park as Nigel Clough looks to reshape his squad.

A number of clubs are thought to have made enquiries after being alerted to the 23-year-old's availability.

The former Crewe youngster lost his place in the starting XI at the back end of last season through injury after previously establishing himself as an integral member of the side since arriving from the Railwaymen in the summer of 2010.

Bailey capped his first season at the club by being named Young Player of the Year and his performances caught the attention of several Premier League teams.

However, he slipped down the pecking order last season due to the fine form of Craig Bryson and Jeff Hendrick and Derby are ready to cash in on the midfield dynamo. - http://www1.skysport.../11696/8008077/

I've got a Bailey shirt when they were offering that free shirt printing, I'm going to look a right plonker walking round the house in that. If he does go I'll be after a refund.

You'll have to change it to Balley with a felt pen

He's been poor in the last couple of games.. I'd like to see him challenge for the first team, but obviously his attitude must be wrong/didn't show enough in pre-season/needs to go back to wherever he came from*

Wherever Bailey goes I will be giving him a good send off, bit disappointed it has come to this but he doesn't fit in anymore and if him leaving gives a place for a tough tackling industrial midfielder to slot in then by all means - it will improve us.

He was at one point so very promising and could of done a lot of things in his career - probably still can, wish him well wherever he goes.

I can't see the point in selling. Get him signed up.

hughes hendrick bryson coutts bailey and davies is not OTT for a midfield squad.

Very strange if he's training with crewe.

I reckon NC must have a young lad ready to follow Hughes into the squad, maybe Dales, he looked good in a U18 game i saw last year.
