FREEBIES

i've got a season ticket (and one for my daughter) and i reckon they are good value - extremely good.

if they made match day tickets less - this would make my ST less good value.

the board like ST because they are money up front - they help them plan for the future.

they want more people to pay to come and watch, of course that do. they try to temp some with freebies here and there in the hope that they will pay full price or a half ST.

BUT they know that if match day tickets are pitched too low ST renewals will suffer. this is something they cannot tolerate. it is one of the factors that we have as an advantage above others in our division and beyond.

As a season ticket holder I am quite happy that freebies are given away ( as long as they can read the ticket and sit in rep right seat!) it's a way to get others involved! And long may it continue, as they will never have the option to be any game they choose

i agree - i have made my choice.

sure it is based on finances as ian suggests but that doesn't mean i am precious about freebies. if it 'artificailly' swells the crowd - so what?

(i'd love to be able to pay 5 quid and stand on the popside again)

Because I am not selfish and know plenty of people who would like to go but either can't commit to most games work or playing and managing local teams, or can't justify £30 or won't pay that amount.

Other clubs have had to reduce prices to maintain gates both Sheffield clubs have for example. I know of no other club that lets as many in for little or nothing as we do and consistently as well.

You are deliberately having a go at DCFC. Virtually every club does "kids for a quid", "freebies", "bogofs" etc. Why you choose to criticise Derby for it is beyond me.

Despite what you say we consistently pull in 25,000, roughly what we did before the 2007 promotion season.

Does that mean we are one of the most expensive teams to watch.... but also with the highest attendences (with ***** away crowds), if that right seems Mr Glick is doing a good job

Sorry But haven't the time to read the whole thread, but can some please explain to me why against pompy we charged a min of £ 25 for adults but for the Southampton game we charged a min of £10 per adult. against pompy and donny the south stand was sold!

not people not wanting tickets but the fact the club never put them of sale WHY??

Far too many negative-negatives there, wtf are you talking about?
