davenportram
JHust seen this posted this afternoon on bbc derby http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/d/derby_county/9371969.stm Derby seek loan deal Liverpool defender Daniel Ayala Daniel Ayala Ayala made five appearances for Liverpool last season Derby County are hoping to wrap up a loan deal for Liverpool centre-half Daniel Ayala. Ayala, 20, was on loan with Hull City earlier this season and the Tigers are eager to see him return to the club. But Rams manager Nigel Clough told BBC Radio Derby: "We are trying for Daniel. He has had a hamstring injury so he is getting fit. "We are just about agreed with the club, it's just convincing the player and trying to do the deal." Clough hopes to land the Spaniard in time for the home fixture against Ipswich Town on Tuesday, 1 February. "Dean Leacock (suspended) is out for two games so we certainly need a left-sided centre-half in before we play Ipswich," Clough added.

Donny Ram
According to Sky the deal for Ayala may hinge on him getting through a Liverpool reserve game on Wednesday http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11688_6699098,00.html Let's hope that someone associated with Derby's playing squad doesn't end up on the treatment table again then eh! From what a couple of Liverpool fans at work have been saying he should be a good addition, just a pity it's not a permanent signing.

davenportram
Not going to Hull From http://www.thisishullandeastriding.co.uk/hullcityhome/hullcity/HULL-CITY-Tigers-accept-defeat-Ayala-hunt/article-3159856-detail/article.html Seems Ipswich are also interested. HULL CITY: Tigers accept defeat in Ayala hunt Daniel Ayala Daniel Ayala HULL City appear resigned to missing out on a new loan deal for Liverpool youngster Daniel Ayala in their hunt for new defensive cover. City boss Nigel Pearson made no secret of his desire to bring the 19-year-old Spaniard back to the KC Stadium for a second spell after he starred for the Tigers during a three-month loan earlier this season. However, with an acrimonious split damaging relations between the two clubs, it seems Liverpool are reluctant to see Ayala head back to the KC Stadium. The Reds voiced their disappointment in how Ayala was treated in December and slammed City for a perceived mismanagement of an hamstring injury. While Roy Hodgson, who was publicly critical of the Tigers during his final weeks in the Anfield hot-seat, has since been replaced by Kenny Dalglish, Liverpool's director of football strategy Damien Comolli seems unwilling to forget the matter. It is tough on Ayala, who is known to favour a return to the KC Stadium ahead of offers from Derby and Ipswich, but City are keeping their options as they look to bolster their defence. The Rams are also hopeful of landing Leicester City's pacy striker Martyn Waghorn ahead of Tuesday's Championship clash against Ipswich Town. Derby were working on trying to strengthen the squad before Kris Commons' move to Celtic. Ayala, who is on his way back from a hamstring injury, has attracted interest from a number of clubs, including Hull City, where he was on loan earlier this season. Looks like he is coming here.
