Midfield individually uncomfortable on the ball, can’t move it forward in possession. We bemoan the quality other sides have, but apparently aren’t prepared to pay for it despite having at least the same revenue and PSR caps as everyone else. We’ve given them more of a game than Stoke did, missing 6 first team players through injury, 2 of whom are arguably in our strongest XI. Ozoh has looked better today, though still room to improve. Passed it more than we did against Boro and showed a bit more intent. Minutes for Ward after injury. They didn’t batter us, but two moments of quality have seen us beaten. Onto the next.
