Although I was young I remember well (well, as well as I remember most things these days) Hector and O'Hare. I honestly believe that the Goddard/Saunders partnership was just as good. Perhaps someone older (cough @Eddie) can confirm or otherwise?

Although Goddard and Saunders were a very effective partnership for one season, there's really no comparison - greatness comes with longevity.

O'Hare and Hector played together on or around six times as many occasions as Goddard and Saunders, and in the process scored something like 5 times as many goals.

Some greatness doesn't linger for long, yet is forever memorable, as in the case of for instance
