Hello

Just thought I would say my wife does this, and she starts with adieu - gets 4 vowels revealed right away.

Goodbye

I’ve had Voila a couple of times as the solution, which is cheating I think, as it’s a French word. And if you’re going to use Voila, you might as well just use viola.

(Kind of) took a cue from @Mostyn6's post, and struck very, very... VERY... lucky with my first green line (Bottom left), and my good fortune just sort of evolved from there!   ?

On the other hand, I have now completed the challenge of generating all numbers from 1 - 100 using just the integers 1,2,3 and 4 once each, plus any mathematical symbols and operands + - * /. This includes exponentiation (raising a number to a power, e.g. 2^3 = 8 ) , factorials (4! = 4 * 3 * 2 * 1 = 24 ), roots and the like.

  • (4+1) / (3+2) = 1
  • (4+2)/(1*3)=2
  • (4*1)+2-3=3
  • 4+1+2-3=4
  • (4*1)+3-2=5
  • (4*3)/(1*2)=6
  • 13-4-2=7

well that made me feel better.

Is there a way of not going in order when using the website. On her phone Mrs Badger can jump between the puzzles but I always take them in order and cannot see anyway not to do so on the website.

Am I a thicky?

I can see all four puzzles and i just concentrate on the one with most letters first. On your first attempt, you got two letters on puzzle 4 in right place, id have carried on with that one.

Do you mean the 4 puzzles of Quordle?

Reading:
1  2
3 4
?

Yes, you can complete them in any order.  Take a look at my earlier post (today) showing my results.
I completed bottom left first (puzzle 3?).  Then 1, 2, 4, but it could be in any order.

Your letters are entered into each of the 4 puzzles, so can can concentrate on any.  I just go with whichever has given me the best start, and hope to complete early enough to move on to the next best (most greens & oranges), and so on.

That's on here, on laptop...
https://www.quordle.com/#/

When done, just click on the "COPY TO CLIPBOARD" tab, then paste into the reply box here, for a neater finish!  ?

EDIT:
Sorry... started that before there were any replies.  Got waylaid, and by the time I'd done, @Mostyn6 had replied 7 minutes previous!  I'm not quite that slow at typing!  ?

I like the pattern you made on the third one.

I did do that and it threw the formatting out so I copied as an image.

I was being thick regarding the order.

I don't even understand that first line, so I'll take your word for it!  ?

I think a few of us have been first timers this week (including me).  We've all had to get our heads around how it works, so no, not thick in my book.  ?

Bosh!!!! Bow down before me, for I am your God!!!!!!!

(I have peaked in life, this is the moment, it’s all down hill from here).

I have the sudden urge to genuflect in your direction, good sir... And I don't particularly care who sees me!

I stopped doing Wordle because it's at least 50% luck to score a quick win.

Quordle on the other hand is 90% skill and strategy because getting lucky on one quadrant won't help you with the others.

I prefer quordle. It’s less about winning quick, and just about winning.

Nerdle is a lot more about thinking about it though, I think. After a good first go, there will only be one or 2 combinations that could possibly work. Just takes a bit of time to think about them all. A proper challenge.
