I would say the fans have definitely helped to destroy the confidence of our previous first choice keeper by ironically cheering every time he catches a ball. Entirely up to you if you think that’s garbage.

I’m not condoning it but Roos was utterly shocking so whilst the ironic Cheers don’t help (and are embarrassing) it’s because of his performances over time.  The point I’m making is that he was awful, then the fans piled on.

I meant “as well” as in “the only viable alternative to Hamer has had his confidence destroyed”

He was about a million times better than Hamer

Waghorn with the most golden chance you'd want and he can't hit the target.
