I have to leave at 3.15 for an evening game, which means I do almost all of bus/ train/ walking on my own in the dark. As I get older I feel less confident about this. I think I’ll wait til closer to the day to see whether I fancy it or not.

arch ram I’m guessing your travelling quite a distance to games.Knowing what a great bunch us Rams are it’s worth posting a separate thread about the area you are in UK and if any other Rams are travelling from your area so you could perhaps travel together car share or train/bus.Yes evening games and dark nights aren’t the best for some but if your a Ram I’m sure a lot would welcome your company.

I’ve always disliked this fixture.  Last year we got held up, parked the other side of the Ford dealership and got in the middle of about 200 florist fans with a police escort from the train station. To be fair to them no bother but my 6 year old did find it intimidating. Anyway the evening game takes the pressure off him coming this time, he is gutted though, bless him.

So 23% of fans who voted on here are now not attending. So 5000 season ticket holders now not able to make it - yeah right. I think a fair few are telling porkies...

Oh and at £36 for cheapest ticket I think there is a fair few very happy to see this now on sky!!!

How have we allowed this to happen to our game? That we let sky sports rule the EPL, the EFL and the FA?!!?
If this was in Germany not only would they be protests, but by now if they weren't listening they would demand a dialogue with the DFB, and finally there would be strike action.

this country is pathetic.

Just a reminder that remaining home tickets are now on general sale (as of 10am this morning, at the counter).

Just picked one up for Muckerette, to take up the empty seat (formerly grandson's U12 freebie) next to me.

There was the grand total of 7 pensioners in the queue, when I got there at 09:50.  Perfect timing, as they just opened the doors as I arrived, so we could queue inside, out of the cold!  (I thought they opened at 9am, and wanted to play it cool... as I pulled up, I thought there's no way I'm queuing up outside with the old fogies!)

Hurry along now folks... you know how popular Monday night matches are, so whatever's left, they ain't gonna be available for long!

That's a bit ageist! If you're a Grandad,  aren't you an old fogey too?

Certainly not!

...Although to be fair, I am a lot older than 29, which is about the average age of new grandads on my estate!

Just checking. I'm always a bit dubious as to whether I've reached that status myself yet!

I am going on my own for this one, which is what it is ?

I'm not a moaning fan but -- I don't remember prices for non-season ticket holders being very expensive for this fixture last season? Checked this morning and seats in the East stand, several blocks away from the travelling fans were £47 with booking fee.

Friends of mine simply can't afford it before Christmas. Return train into Derby from Sawley about £4.90, plus £15-20 on drinks, plus £47 total ticket price meant it would be costing over £60.

What block as the most expensive category A seats in the East Stand (red blocks) are showing as £42 + £1 booking fee? Category B £41 and Category C £39.

Toyota Upper's most poshest normal seats are £43 (butler not included) so unless there's an error on the page, £47 doesn't sound right.

Still an outrageous price for 2nd division football but...
