We looked the stronger side physically after 25 minutes. Bristol City look tired and to their credit they were holding on a bit towards the end of that half quite well.

It's not just his decision making on the ball either. It's very frustrating when the opposition player has the ball and is going nowhere, only to be fouled. Lawrence has needlessly clipped the ankle a couple times already tonight, just gives them an easy way out.

Agreed on both counts, very frustrating with him being naturally way more talented than Russell and Weimann but he must drive the coaches mad!!

Good news is they’ve used up two subs, so I can’t imagine they’ll be able to change their approach much in this half. This is it for them. If we can figure out how manage them properly this is ours for the taking.

Sloppy start to the second half. We need to buck our ideas up and get on top again. Not strong enough in the tackle and a bit lackadaisical with our passing and approach. Letting them back into it.

Funnily enough I think we miss Baird’s ability to find a pass on the right hand side going forward. He’s done it a few times this season and created goal scoring opportunities. Wisdom doesn’t offer that and offers little going forward. We lose an option.
