From what I've heard, no it wasn't, which was the problem. If the complete documentation set had been sent before 11pm with a covering note saying corrected form to follow, the two hour extension to sort out minor problems would have come into play.

But the League didn't receive anything until after 11pm.

I have no words... Just when you think DCFC can't bumble through anything else... Woo Hoo..

Wait for Morris to say we never wanted him and we did it deliberatly.

I think both are our comments are going to be removed @reveldevil

Mine was, although I felt it was in line with the forum t&c's.

It contained no pornography, and although certainly adult-centred, no offensive words either.

Still, the mod's do their jobs as they see fit, which makes this forum so enjoyable and decent, so no complaints here.

Carry on.

Having looked again, the word sex appeared more than once.

Thorne, Baird, Hanson then we have Guy and Bird. You'd probably put Keith just after Thorne on that list, so the backup to the backup. Sensationalism indeed ;)

I remember not too long ago, Manchester United had no fit strikers. They'd loaned out Ashley Fletcher and James Wilson. Stellar names I'm sure you'll agree, ahead of Marcus Rashford at the time. Weird how things work out.

Thorne we have no indication as to how his fitness will stand up over the course of the season. Baird has been woeful whenever he's played there due to a distinct lack of mobility, and then Guy and Bird have no experience of any kind at Championship level, hardly stellar backup options if Johnson or Huddlestone gets injured, let alone falls out of form...

My main worry now is that if we still want to sign him in Janunary his fee will be massive.

In just 7 days he has gone from a last minute panic buy who can't pass a ball to the Messiah who was going to lead us to promotion, if he keeps on improving at this rate we could be looking at a world record transfer fee.

Ah well never mind it's not happened so let's move on doesn't mean were a shambles or a laughing stock just because one signing wasn't sorted in this stupid transfer window system. Last time I checked we still have Thorne , Hanson and Baird who can all play this position.

Agreed though some idiots think the club is a shambles - on the back of a c***-up which appears to have been caused by the incoming player. Some 'fans' reactions are unbelievable at times.

Look I often try to stay positive and that sort of thing, and I'd love to blame the EFL but this is pretty inexcusable. If you're going to wait until deadline day, you need to have 100% confidence that it can be done last minute. You allow for human error, you always have to deal with human error.

It's not Birminghams fault, or Kieftenbelds fault, or the EFLs fault. This is on us.
