Cause and effect. Now and the next 2 seasons is about dealing with the prior 3 seasons of calamitous decision making and delegating.

Maybe but the current manager has still been given in the region of £10m to bring in his own players.

Not sure how much longer Mel has to carry the can for previous poor signings.

The end of fan fuelled meltdowns as soon as we lose an early season game? No?

Fine I'll settle for patience and a little perspective, that can't be that hard can it?

If the players perform well the fans won't have anything to melt down about. Simple.

So you see him as a stop gap or a long term solution?

He's only 30 had injuries the last two seasons but he wants to play with them and does himself no favours

if he's fully fit we have no one like him

u don't win games every week with superstars

I think we are in desperate need of a reality check,

is one game where we made two silly mistales to give them a lead.

Any decent side doesnt create a multitude of chances to come back from 2 down, instead it doesnt give away two soft goals in the first place.

Wish Radio Derby wouldnt bother reading out those stupid "bad loser" knee jerk comments some so called fans come out with.

Well in which case he should get himself fit.

He's a Rowett sort of player in my opinion.

He'll do himself no favours putting in below average performances while unfit.
