Sexydadbod
Yes folks, it's that time of year where you need to rise and shine to make your predictions for the upcoming season that is sure to be packed with thrills and spills. Yes I know that it's only June but that's what makes predictions more fun and spooky. The players are back for the start of pre season this forthcoming week so there's no reason why you shouldn't also do your pre season training by working your fingers contributing to this forum, although it's good to see that many have kept in shape in the off season by contributing to the other threads such as the WH19 saga(Will Hughes). It goes without saying that we hope that the flop of the season and first player to get a major injury categories don't happen, unless of course you are a lurker on this forum who supports another team. If that's the case then I hope the next time it rains, a car drives past and splashes you with water. Right that's enough of the jibber jabbering, let's get to the predictions: Top scorer: Chris Martin-16 goals Player of the season: Andre Wisdom Young player of the season: Max Lowe Most improved player of the season: Bradley Johnson Breakthrough player of the season: Timi Max Elsnik Flop of the season: Scott Carson(sorry Scotty but you won the player of the season last season which means you are now cursed, just be kind and try not to make too many errors yeh) First player to get a major injury this season(since it's tradition that we have at least major casualty a season): David Nugent-leg break in September. He's a tough cooky though so he'd be back by January at the latest. How many managers will we have this season: 1 Where will Derby finish: 5th-losing at Wembley to Aston Villa Other championship based predictions: Top 6: 1. Middlesborough 2. Norwich 3. Aston Villa 4. Hull 5. Derby 6. Sheffield Wednesday Play offs: Derby v Hull- Derby win on penalties Aston Villa v Sheffield Wednesday- Aston Villa win Final: Aston Villa 2 Derby 1 Relegated 3: 22. Burton 23. Sexydadbod
Looks like Bent was our first major casualty then. Would have been nice to have a full season without any major injuries but that was realistically never going to be the case. I'm going to adapt my top 6 slightly. I can't see us making the top 6 so Brentford to make the top 6 instead of us.
