So good results we either pick fault with or skip over but bad results we make a big deal out of?

Of the 6 defeats:-

Norwich - a team on the up

Leeds - top 6 team

Newcastle - top of the league

Cardiff - best form in the division in 2017

Aston Villa - unlucky not to get something from the game by all accounts

So which bad results did I make a big deal over and which good results did I pick fault with and skip over then mastermind.

We couldn't even beat Burton at home or for that matter Bristol

Reading away 1-1

Huddersfield away  lost   0-1

Leeds at home.  Just about won that one.  1-0

Brum at home .  Just about won that one. 1-0

Brentford at home.  0-0.

Wigan at home 0-0

Wigan away just about won 0-1

Wolves away just about won that but didn't deserve too.  2-3

Sheff Wed at home good 2-0 win

Rotherham at home won 3-0 but who hasn't beat Rotherham.

Norwich at home just about won 1-0

Forest at home won 3-0  good result against a team on the down at the time

QPR away just won 0-1

Fulham away good result 2-2

A bit hit and miss on that good run really to be honest

------------

Lost 6 league games since then though  and drawn 2 at home

Beat Reading at home 3-2 and Ipswich 3-0

--------

Thing is I won't be laughing as such because I want us to get promoted and Derby County are my team

Some people just can't see that the team and manager are performing badly of late.

That kinda statement is why a lot of people on here get a bit sick of you.  The glass is ALWAYS half empty, even when we're doing well you have to nitpick at everything.  Name a Derby game, or indeed a game played by any team this year that was perfect???  You can't.

Of course you'll say "Well I had my eye on the bigger picture, I knew our form would tail off", "Aren't I a clever boy?"  But you'll find a lot of people were of the same opinion, but don't insist of starting 3 negative threads a week about it.  Can you give me your seat number so I can stay as far away from it as possible.  I bet you're the type who moans the second we've kicked off...

That post really is an absolute insult.

I would love people to be honest on 4 questions

1       How many people wanted Wassall as manager after the playoffs

2       How many people thought Pearson was a good appointment at the time

3        How many people thought they would welcome McClaren back to Derby   .

4       Do you still want McClaren for next season whatever results we get for the rest of this season

1. NO

2. NO

3. No

4. NO

Honestly what do you want? Ok you have your view, fine. I agree the form has been poor of late BUT I still believe we have a good manager in Mclaren and look forward to next season.

My only conclusion is unless everyone else agrees with your opinion you wont be happy.

On another note, if we are going to stop having alternative opinions, we need to establish set punishments for acts of heresy and sedition or statements that could be considered treason.

Perhaps applied by an arbitrary power (mods?) Ranging from their profile pic being temporary changed to an unflattering photo of kennyburns to bring hunted down and fed to Kenny burns.

Of course, serious offenders would have to be summoned before the podcast to defend themselves.

1. I wouldn't have minded Wassall BUT he would have needed support/ an assistant.

2. I was under whelmed by the Pearson appointment. Not sure why TBH, just wasn't excited by it.. A lot of mates thought he would be good though.

3. I did not think for a minute that McClaren would come back (until Mel started praising him a day or two before). I was very happy when he returned though.

4. I do want Mac for next season. I think we need a period of stability.

That could easily be levelled at the people who disagree with him..

Every time he posts, one of the Three Musketeers jumps on his post.. Why should he not reply? Why should they not reply?

20 odd pages of good stuff imo.

No 'just about lost' or any 'teams on the up'?

True enough. There ought to be balance Curtains.

From memory I thought our wins against Norwich at home and wolves away were quite strong 1 goal victories.

Likewise we've had some 1 goal defeats where we've been drubbed eg Huddersfield,  Leeds. But others like villa where we've been well in the match.

I may of course be wrong in my views :)

Some people just can't see that the team and manager are performing badly of late.

Or some people can't see how we're suffering from injuries and have an incredibly unbalanced side with no focal point.

As we are, we are a midtable side and as SM has taken us from 22nd to top half, he's hardly underperforming.

You either have stupidly high expectations, or you can't comprehend how football works.
