You don't want Pearson sacked but you want them to name a new manager while he is still suspended and under investigation? Big decision that MM has got to get right but you want him to rush it? No pleasing some people.

Hathersage Ram
I really hope that the time that has elapsed has given both sides the opportunity to reconcile. To reach a framework whereby they both understand each other's objectives. I may be in a minority but I want Pearson to be our Manager. Those fans who think there is a quick fix with the squad he inherited are basking in the past. They we're patently not good enough with skill wise or in attitude. Given the season I am convinced Pearson would build what we want.
ilkleyram
But you do know, Curtains. Pearson is suspended and Powell is in charge until told otherwise. Pearson's behaviour is being investigated and we will be told when the issue is sorted and what the outcome will be. The rest - dates/location of any hearing etc - are confidential, quite properly, as will be any negotiations if there is to be a new manager. Patience. richinspain
Pearson is suspended. Until he returns to his position or is sacked Chris Powell will be caretaker manager. If he is sacked then Mel Morris will anounce the next move. We're all desperate to find out what that next move is, but as they say over here "first one, then two....." MackworthRamIsGod
How many fans would have been happy in the summer if we were looking to get Chris Powell as manager? It surprises me how many people would be happy now.

Maybe we have missed a trick not getting Warnock in if Pearson does go.

My question is this : do you want pearson at all costs, or the version of pearson who did so well in the 13/14 season. Was that perhaps a flash in the pan and we're seeing the more usual pearson? Purpleram
I hope they can shake hands and allow Pearson to get on with it the job. In any case this limbo is frustrating, yes we know Powell is in charge, but I think us paying punters deserve to see this sorted sooner rather than later. UKIP is a laughing stock but within 24 hours of an 'altercation', Sir Nigel Farage and the two participants have spoken and explained what happened and are trying to mend the bridge. By comparison, 11 days after an 'altercation', DCFC are still 'investigating'. This time-span beggars belief. The team's passing from the back under Clement was faster.
