Tombo
Gutter press yes. But also gone out of their way to prove he's a corrupt dodgy ******* and that can't exactly go unpunished either.

PodgeyRam
Yes, how dare they try and expose corruption at the highest levels of the FA. This is exactly the sort of thing that the press should be doing. There's no doubt that there is a story here. You can't simply call corruption like that an attempt by the press the derail another England manager. You can't simply ignore corruption because he's the England manager. It probably isn't Allardyce's first time doing that sort of thing.

Sith Happens
The FA will be groaning inwardly now. Surely is gross misconduct. Rip up contract time no pay off.
Muskination
Having observed the press in the way that they have dealt/are dealing with Brexit, I have nothing but utter contempt for mainstream press.

Duracell
Really can't believe that people are criticising the Telegraph for this, like they'd rather not know that Big Sam is more than happy to take part in the coruption that's rife in English football. The bloke literally took the first opportunity to abuse his position and earn a bit of money on the side, advise people he'd just met on how to break his employer's rules, purely in the name of personal financial greed. Mostyn6
so it turns out that in all conversations Sam Allardyce said that he'd have to "run it by the powers that be" Makes it slightly different to the way it's portrayed
LesterRam
a good quiz question, who has the dubious honour of the shortest rain of an England Manager?

Damn straight. We call for the heads of Sepp & his croanies at FIFA or their corruption then spit the dummy out and defend one of our own to the hilt. I'm sorry but doing something illegal, is doing something illegal regardless of what your nationality or job title is...
