Unfortunately yes some derby fans will overly dramatize and make snide comments this result as per usual which is just sad and ridiculous on their part. Alex W Posted July 16, 2016 Share Posted July 16, 2016 We just played a CL team who've dominated the Portugese league relatively easily for some time with our kids in the side and backup players in new formations, missing our regular first team defenders and other key players in midfield (Thorne is classy enough to have matched them). I'm not sure if anyone has been watching the Portuguese league at all but that side is one of the best to grace it for a long time. Only a few years ago they made Tottenham look like idiots in the Europa, last season they were immense given the lack of spending power in their respective league. Who cares? The run around they just got will be far superior to the one they'd have had away at Alfreton for a lazy jog around. Perfect for them.
