I was just thinking about which managers I think should really still be in the game at Premier of Championship level. When you consider some of the talented managers currently not working, it's amazing that chumps like Neil Lennon, Steve Evans and co are getting jobs! Graeme Sounness George Burley George Graham Billy Davies (love him or loathe him, he's competitive) Peter Reid (deserves a chance at a decent club imo) Can you think of any? Graeme Sounness??!?!? Bang average manager, Rangers aside he's failed in every single job he's had. He's just as responsible for Man U's recent success as Fergie is. He took on a Liverpool side that, with a couple of additions, had a couple more years left on the clock and tore it apart. He changed too much too quickly and set the scousers back two decades. I know @MuespachRam would have him knighted for these actions but it didn't half make the Premiership boring for 10 years...

Blackburn were a very strong squad for the 2nd tier, like Newcastle under Houghton you'd struggle not to get them up.

Billy works the other way round - if Bolton were where they were would Billy go there? Not only does he leave a mess, he only walks in if he's going to be able to spend. RadioactiveWaste
Moyes. If you're a middling club who need a solid but unspectacular manager, he's a good bet. Was never going to succeed at Man U after the squad collectively decided he was beneath them( which they have wonderfully failed to back up with success after he left). G STAR RAM
Glen Hoddle without a doubt, would still take him back as England manager in a hearbeat. Politically correct FA robbed us of a great manager and put us back 20 years.
Zag zig
Harry Redknapp purely for transfer window entertainment value. Chris Powell decent bloke who deserves a break with a team that have just a bit of money and a chairman with more faith, that doesn't pull the rug from under him.
