...why..?

...is someone going or something? Our forward line consists of Martin, Bent, Weimann and Russell at a stretch, with Bennett and Thomas pushing for a chance. If we're after someone like McGoldrick, then someone is going, and it's not going to be Bent or Weimann.

'Newly promoted Premier League club Leicester City placed an initial £5 million bid for the striker during the close of the summer transfer window, but Ipswich held out for a sum of £8 million and Leicester decided to pull out out of the deal.'

that was last year.... since then murphy has made the position his own. Think it will be a couple of million at most now. Not that im saying we need him but he could be the cover target man for martin that we desperately needed last season. They may even take sammon in part exchange  reason im saying we may not need him now but did last year is we may not be playing and set up with the pivot lone forward this year like we were last year.

Because if you swap Weimann for Ward we failed to reach the playoffs with the same forward line last season. Injuries to Bent (who has a poor recent injury record) and Martin (once a hamstring goes it is always likely to reoccur) and we might be in a similar situation, although I'd hope that Clement would deal with it better than McClaren did.  I would imagine that Mel Morris is trying to do all he can to make promotion as likely as possible.
