It's no brainer and JOHNNY RUSSELL FOR ME THAT IS ALL.

Three months ago, it would've been Russell. 2015 ONLY it would have been Hughes.

Overall, for me, it has to be Chris Martin. His average throughout the games he has played, has been better than both Russell and Hughes.

Hughes had an distinctly average 2014 part of the season and started firing after, and Russell has not really made an impression this side of his injury.

    Chris Martin had already won player of the season before we had even reached January for me. Absolutely vital for the first 2/3 of the season. 

    Yes Hughes has played really well recently but Martin was consistently our most important player.

    Will Hughes, second I would put Grant, I know he is going through a blip but overall not a bad year from him.

    Wanted to give YPOTS to Christie but he's older than Hughes so that would make no sense....

    Fell apart since Martin's injury ,not a coincidence far more pressure on the side without him to hold the ball up. Derby's tough guy up front, irreplaceable within the current players at the club.Cost a fortune on the open market to replace him..Hughes worthy also, but CM shades it for me.
