Kernow
Well I personally think he's off to Sunderland and will refuse to believe otherwise until he comes out and categorically states that he isn't leaving.

StringerBell
You might like to have a look through old threads. There were at least 2 relating to McClaren's imminent departure for Newcastle.
Ambitious
I think Sunderland would be a good club for McClaren at this moment in time. It's a big club, with not too ridiculous expectations and always money in the bank to go out and spend. Newcastle would be a very risky move for McClaren, while QPR would be a completely underwhelming move by McClaren... Sunderland could be just right... If they manage to stay up, that is. No Derby fan wants him to go, apart from maybe Valleyram, but it does look a good fit for both club and manager - as it currently stands.

VulcanRam
I kind of expect him to leave in the summer under one circumstance or another. But to go now would be disastrous. And to go to Sunderland plain stupid.Just the usual media fantasy.
curb
hes no rated up here in Scotland and quite honestly with what ive seen from him this year I can now agree with this , if he cant get this derby county team up even with the injuries hes had hes been a failure , best squad in the league by a mile and in 4th place , its not good enough boycie boy, ive no bones with brsyon no getting back in whilst hendrick was playing well , I have got a problem when hes not playing well however and still stays in the team , also how some other players captain included keep their place when such a big squad is at his disposal is beyond me , its not good management and will cause him problems
