He'll get a prison sentence and be subject to all kinds of measures to prevent him travelling when England play away etc. Hope I don't know him (as a mate) as I'm totally ashamed that he associated to the same club I love. Fighting with rival fans as a hooligan is one thing. Trying to assault a professional sportsman for playing for your rivals is totally mental. Not condoning the idiot, as we will all be tarnished with the same brush now due to his actions. But I wondered if he gets charged, will lascelles also get charged for running over and hitting him. There'd be some sort of allowance for protecting a friend and using reasonable force. In Lascelles defence, it will be noted that he didn't prolong any sort of physical assault/attack, and left it to stewards once the fan was grounded. Many a man would have smashed the fan in a bit... Mind you, I was stuck in traffic when the Forest lot were being escorted past to the station. One of them went to my passenger side window and gestured at me. Love these inbreds who become tough guys when surrounded by old bill - I just smiled and indicated our relative positions in the league table before he buggered off. There is only one person that owes an apology. But for tonight at least he'll be sat in a cell. Why should we hang our heads, especially to Forest supporters, for something a complete unknown has done. Maybe I'm bitter, but I got no apologies for being headbutted in the face by an adult Forest fan when I'd not even been to the game........ I was 12 years old!!!!! That's national. I thought we were meant to go up this season and win friends along the way. So much for that. We should be having fun in this promotion push, but we've been strutting around like peacocks all season and we can add to that a growing reputation as sore losers. That can carry a punishment numbered in tens of thousands of pounds, being forced to play games behind closed doors etc. OK, it's unlikely that the club will receive a severe punishment, but they could. Not especially proud to be a Ram this evening. I wonder if these people are regular match goers. One problem is there are several thousand 'fans' who turn up once a season, for this game. They assume that we are world beaters and will win at a canter, and don't understand when we don't. They have a day out on the beer and think they have a right to do as they wish.
