Animal is a Ram
I hope it's a good one. Did a lot for the club, deserved a crack at the prem, but didn't get it.
eddie
What kind of reception will people on here give Brayford? It's bound to be an excellent reception. Derby fans (for the most part) are pretty fair when it comes to ex-Rams playing for the opposition (Tyrone Mears excepted, of course).
VulcanRam
If Pulis has any sense he'd be hanging on for Newcastle, West Brom or West Ham - or indeed any of the Prem teams who will be sacking their manager in the next couple of months. Did a fantastic job at Palace, I'd be surprised if he wanted to move into the Championship.
Mills_DCFC
I would maybe rest Eustace and start Shotton in the defensive midfield role.

This is the dream job for Pulis, if only he can put up Chairman Tan.

peakram
Better off playing them before the new long term manager steps in I'd say so they may still be a little disorganised.
Carl Sagan
A really key game. So much of the hard work that we've put in this week will be disappated if we don't get the three points. Win and we're likely into the playoff positions and with momentum building. For promotion we need to be averaging 2 points a game. I measure our distance to that milestone by how many consecutive wins we need to manage to reach that point. Win and we're almost up there, with 15 points from 8 games, and so we're only 1 win away and we can be at 2 points a game after 9 games. Draw and we have 13 points from 8 games, so it would take 3 more consecutive wins to get there (after 11 matches at the earliest). Lose and we've 12 points from 8 games so the run required would be 4 more consecutive wins (to get us there after 12 games at the earliest). We can't rely on going on mega-runs later in the season and can't afford to allow the top teams to get too far away. No taking the foot off the gas... Of course the fact he's out of work might help.

peakram
McClaren says Hughes has a slight groin strain according to Nicholson. Thought he was holding it when he came off. So who plays if he doesn't make it as midfield options are beginning to thin down. Cant see we would play both Eustace and Mascarell at home. peakram
Calero in the middle or Dawkins in the middle along with Russell or Ibe on the wing two possible options though they do seem limited.
YorkshireRam
Team against Cardiff: Grant Christie Keogh Whitbread Forsyth Eustace Hughes Bryson Ward Ibe Martin If Hughes isn't fit, replace with Mascarell Whitbread or Buxton, wouldn't mind either way. Ibe has a creative flair and offers a different, more direct attacking option to Dawkins. Think he'll cause Cala problems down that side.
