Cam the Ram
Excuse my ignorance but is McCormack blessed with pace? One of our main threats was pace from both sides up front. Not as fast as Ward or Russell but he's no slouch. Can take a good set piece as well

Yeah, McCormack is quicker than Ward, I believe. Similar to Russell.

MrsRam
If Bryson's off and there's nothing we can do about it then why not this? it would soften the blow of losing him a bit. Have both tho' - would be good, wouldn't it.
North_Stand_Ram
Nixon said the striker (not Ross) is worth over £1m and is a target man/same mould as Martin.. Odd

matty1
So looking closer at the poster of the original McCormack rumour 'P12TFC'. It could be construed (if you were incredibly bored and short of things to do at work of a Thursday morning) that PTFC might stand for Partick Thistle FC?? It could then be surmised that '12' relates to a squad number. The current Number 12 at Partick is goalkepper Paul Gallacher. The poster then goes on to suggest that they live in Glasglow - Paul Gallacher is from Glasgow. The poster also claims that the source of their rumour is McCormack himself, suggesting a possible friend/acquaintance of the player. Ross McCormack and Paul Gallacher both played for Scotland B together (in addition to playing in opposing SPL teams). Of course this little 'Poirot' detective work has a 99.9% chance of being total bo$$ocks - but theres nowt like adding a little unsubstantiated rubbish to add fuel to a fire
Boss
Interesting to see Nixon replied yesterday that there wasn't a chance in hell of this happening. Today he's said 'I have my doubts' ... Clutching at straws there but seems to have changed from a definite no at least

Cardifframs
Ross McCormack!!, are we actually believing this will happen??! n we've got more chance of West Brom telling us we can have Thorne for nowt and driving him down to the ground for us than him signing. He'd cost silly money, he can easily get a prem move, Leeds aren't going to sell their best player by a country mile to a league rival are they? If this happens I will come back on here and admit i was wrong and foolish, but I will be absolutely stunned, and I mean stunned if he signed for us and not a prem team. And one other thing, if he comes in then who's leaving because there's no way we're signing him and keeping all our players. Can we all float back down to planet earth now please Rio Ferdinand Eric Cantona spring to mind
