Gary Teale
So he tried hard that justifys what? He was brought as a first team player but has never been good enough to hold down a place in the side, he came as a set piece specialist but he didnt even produce on that front. He isnt good enough so bye
Srg
Shouldn't really bite, but Davies is what? 33? Only ever played above League 1 when we signed, in which he was never a regular. We're beyond past him. Plus, 10 Clough signings vs Brighton? Wisdom and Thorne started the game, so it's incorrect - before you include Hendrick and Hughes coming from youth set up. Also, Dawkins and Bamford both came on.
jcidaho
Bavies put in some MOTM performances. Wasn't good enough for where we want to get to, but a decent player. He put in a shift and so he's got my gratitude and best wishes.
wixman1884
He seems to be a popular lad in the dressing room and well liked. I think for months after he signed we were just all waiting for him to settle in but that never came. Wasn't good enough for us about a year ago, and definitely not now
HeyHudson
I think part of the problem was that Bavies came in as Commons went out, so everyone was assuming he'd fill his shoes, but they're completely different. Solid squad player but not one for a team in our position. Good luck to him.
trevor1946
eaustace came on as sub=10 against brighton did we miss davies no as expected in a squad game ,one out one in thats the plan.oh dear he was a player brought in on a tight budget to do a job and he did it. he was part of derbys team spirit that moved this club forward and will take Q P R on at wembley to most derby fans he wore the shirt with pride and we thank him for his effort, and again wish him well who said if you cant speak well say nowt oh dear the forum has crashed
Rev
Tidy player, did his best, popular squad member, will do well at Sheff Utd, good luck in the future. Nice to see you experimenting with punctuation as well Trevor, good post.
Gary Teale
He didn't do what he was brought in to do, we paid 360k for him after a long chase and he was supposed to add great quality to our set pieces and provide crosses. He never held down a place even under the manager who signed him as he wasn't good enough. I'm glad we spent 360k on a someone who was popular with his team mates. VulcanRam
Always liked him, liked his attitude and he was capable, but we have moved up a level. I wish him well wherever he goes.

CumbrianRam
Don't see why saying player isn't good enough can be classed as slating, nobody is saying he is a horrible person and he does seem like a nice guy. However, his future lies away from Derby County and probably down at L1/L2 level, was a hard-worker but never really did anything outstanding here, wasn't terrible either just below average. rynny
I liked Ben Davies. Scored some cracking goals, especially against Leeds. Wasn't a bad player and the last couple of seasons was a vital part of the team/squad. But we have moved on to the next level and he isn't up to that standard. Good luck, think he could join a lower champ team, a Huddersfield or a Forest
