ladyram
Some Twitter posters moaning about it. He was his Godfather and by all accounts his dad and ND went way back and from what I've heard he was a very decent bloke. Why on earth shouldn't he dedicate a goal to him if he wants - no matter what the team? What this is for me is daft, pointless animosity.
Animal is a Ram
I have a lot of respect for ND, proper owner, pumping in money for a love of the club - there's not enough of that in football these days, partly due to the fact that there really isn't the time for that kind of owner. So what if Bamford wants to dedicate it to his Godfather? Doesn't bother me in the slightest. So long as he keeps scoring goals for us, its totally irrelevant what his celebration motivations are. G STAR RAM
Fair play to the lad for having the balls to do something like this even though he knows it could potentially upset a few mindless ******. Would much rather have a player do something like this rather than kissing the badge on his first appearance.
ossieram
No problem with this at all. ND was his god father and a long standing friend of the family. Bamford is showing more respect to the bloke than the majority of the red scum ever did.
davenportram
Hence the reason for tweeting he wouldn't join Forest - possibly blames Davros for wasting the money which heaped pressure from fans for more.
McRamFan
I always like Nigel Doughty, and felt for him when the 'fans' turned on him. Well done Patrick, just do the same again when the gumps are in town.
Scott129
It shouldn't even be an issue really. Family (godfather included here) is more important than football and stupid rivalries. On a side note, what do we reckon our chances of signing him permanently are? Not getting carried away that he's going to be amazing or anything, just wondering
