I see no point in beating ourselves up over the will-he-won't-he scenario that is unfolding. The window opens tomorrow, and my guess is that we will hear some news within 24 hours. Meanwhile, Forest fans are going to be hanging on tenterhooks for a full 31 days before they find out that their perfectly reasonable targets of Messi and Ronaldo (both on £2m cheeky bids rising to £2.001m) are not going to join.
