ONE Wigan fan slagged McClaren off, a couple thought that we would beat them and 'it would be for the best' (a bit like when Nigel was here - there was always the odd pillock who was willing us to lose if, in their mind, it meant the manager would get sacked) and a couple thought they would beat us. But picture this: To make up 7 points, burnleys must loose 3 (not likely) while we win 3 (including Wigan) and draw 1 (not impossible). Which means they will drop at least 3 goals putting them on 13. We'd need to win our 3 wins by an average of 2 clear goals a game. I should think a thrashing of Charlton should push us over the edge. A pointless bit of supposition there.
