If you could swop Nigel Clough for any manager from the 23 other CHAMPIONSHIP teams. Who would you pick or would you stick with Clough ??

What a ridiculous thread.

Can I just say, Clough is the Derby County manager. Get on with it folks.

Accept it. He will be the manager for a long time. He is the favorite with the board and the large majority of the fans.

I'd swap him for virtually any other NPC manager..

Then after a few months I'd complain and call them **** too..

And you probably would.

I'm just amazed that after all the good work Clough has done the adjective you choose to describe his tenure is "****".

What a lovely, well thought out comment.

It took me a while to think of the correct adjective..

**** is too strong I agree.. Average and pointless are perhaps more fitting

In the context of the win at Bristol especially, I believe that qualifies as world class whiny ass misery guts attention seeking garbage.

Stick without a shadow of doubt...ever....

.. and Bris with those comments you have lost what little shred of credibility you had.

If you cannot see what NC has done / is doing, then you must be going round all those empty tequila bottles eating the worms!

Stick...

  • Moved out all the deadwood
  • Lowered the wage bill
  • Given all the academy players something to aim for
  • Keeps players feet on the ground
  • Doesn't squander club funds on expensive pre season tours
  • Makes players earn the right to wear the shirt

Only downside - can't understand why he sometimes plays players out of position

Stick. I honestly believe the club means something to him and I'd love it, love it, if he got a crack at The Prem with us.

He Calls derby home, forgetting the obvious connection and how much his dad was loved all of his family live and say they are from DERBY,

He obviously loves the club and is his dream job 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/ph34r' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/ph34r' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

I've got you down as Scrooge for the forum Christmas panto. Is that ok?

The rest of us are having a rehearsal later, but you don't need to come because you already know your lines.
