I think there's got to be a movement to start another protest and begin piling on the pressure, we can't just let the club die without a fight.

Not posted on since the good old days.  But for the first time today I am very worried about my derby county, I have followed them since I came to live here in 1974 and the only engment  I had was through the rams , myself and my late father and brother all derby through and through,  I'm the only one left now
And if this was taken away from me
It will finsh me.  So I pray ?
Please please save this great club

I hate Leeds as much as every Derby fan (possibly even more so having left Derby for West Yorkshire in 1987 and having lived amongst Leeds supporters ever since), but if they put in a serious offer, Knight would be mad to turn it down. He's exactly the kind of player the Leeds fans would take to, and it would increase his profile massively. I'd be upset to lose a player like him, but it's happened so many times over the years, and will always happen, to every club.
Plus the transfer money could be put to good use. We desperately need lots of players through the door, and a decent fee should fund a few incoming players.
Time for a new chapter everybody, we've just got to embrace it.

Just bumped into him again, not literally!
Said thanks for last season then said i bet you're looking forward to Tuesday when its all sorted, he said yeh its all sorted now so we're now trying to get some players in. I said its good news Byrne is staying, he said yeh he is going nowhere.

Today, Mel Morris had within his gift one final gesture of goodwill to our club, that would have let us celebrate our survival together in our home with a new owner.
Instead, he chose for whatever reason to deny us this final solace, in what has been our toughest season for many decades.
I've always tried to understand the difficulties he has faced, the money he poured into the club, the intransigence of the EFL, the outside factors at play.
But my patience has worn thin lately, and today it has snapped altogether.
You've lost the club, Mel, you've lost our club. You've lost all respect, you've lost our respect.
No matter what you do from this point forward you will never redeem yourself in my eyes.

All the very best for the coming season and beyond.I hope Rooney sticks by you with a decent owner on board he has a good a chance as anybody to get you back up.Your fans have been superb through this crap period.Things can change very quick in football and sometimes for the better, look at us in the so called best league in the world the Premier league for another season.Although my opinion of  the PL ( I’ve missed 2 games this season )is it’s the fatal attraction of clubs who risk everything to get to the tv cash when for us fans it’s a bland predictable bore fest unless you are a top 4 club the rest just make up the numbers.I won’t shed a tear when we eventually get back to the championship a far better and more competitive league to play in.Hope to be playing you at Pride Park again soon.

Let’s just hope everyone gets behind CK now and I think he has shown he is not a tyre kicker as he is addressing the correct problems first.
A lot of the criticisms towards him seem petty considering the alternative of liquidation.
There may have been a few bidders in the background but he has come back and stepped up to put his money where his mouth is and trying to right the wrongs from our previous owner.
I am just pleased that we were lucky enough to get someone like him to take a chance on us as the other option of losing my club would have totally devastated me.
I know the takeover is not complete yet but I for one will be giving him 100% support and at last I feel positive about Derby’s future which is great after the last year of depression and negative news surrounding our great club.

Council buying the stadium and leasing it back with a purchase options is a great idea.

My friend has not long left of his life, He has terminal cancer and has maybe only weeks to live.  He had his first season ticket when he came out of the army in the mid fifties, and has had it every season since, and then when he married in 1963 his wife had one too, they never missed a home match, but then covid came along and they have not been again. We have a mutual friend who lives in the USA he is in the UK this week end and is taking my friend to what is likely to be his last match ever. I'm just hoping if there are any protests it wont affect the match. So please spare a thought or a prayer if your so minded on Saturday. I wont say his name as he hated social media as much as he loved the Rams. So UP THE RAMS  P will be thinking of you.

Friday 1st April is pivotal in the history of DCFC from what has been written by Percy et al. If it transpires we don't have a PB that comes up to the valuation (and it seems that may be the case)and Q have gone to the nth degree, then MM and Pearce will be the most despised people not only in Derby and Derbyshire but in homes all across the country, and around the world. Chelsea takeover will be put in the background whilst our demise will be all over Sky. Money, as so many have said in the past, has ruined this beautiful game. Greedy agents and some greedy players have taken our money and run. Very very sad tonight for everyone affected, including my son and myself. It's like sitting at the side of a bed where you are watching someone so precious to you ebbing away in front of eyes and you can't do anything about it. Please Mel DON'T LET THIS MAGNIFICENT CLUB DIE - I BEG YOU!!!

I do admire the fans groups but wonder how they think they represent the rank and file of supporters. Recently somewhere I red that bawt have a committee of 13 "founder members" not elected but founder members but they post that should Morris, the stadium owner, be involved they would decide what to do next. Not in my name they will not and I suspect not in thousands of others. Why do they think that they speak for anybody but themselves when they have not even bothered to ask others?

If some of MMs money is used to oil the wheels for the deal to go through and avoid the 15 points I’m not sure why people would then withdraw their support of the Club. I thought most wanted him to cough up in some way? And if as a result he retained a % or shareholding then so be it. Some Clubs have and are still bank rolled by Dodgy Russian money or Saudi government cash. Why should we be ashamed to have a local who want to at least try to right his past mistakes

Que? Appleby was part of GSE was he not? The period we had under GSE was one of the most financially stable periods the club has had in the past 40 years if not longer.
Why do you say the finances weren't good?

There are bids on the table. Sooner or later, Quantuma and the EFL are going to have to accept one of the bids. It might well be at the end of the season for whatever reason as WR suggested. How could any administrator let a company/club be liquidated when there is a bid to purchase?

I totally agree with this, but I am still miserable. All the uncertainty over the football club is slowly killing me.
The only release has been the good performances on the pitch, spirited fightbacks, joy of watching our best youngsters breaking through to first team and some of the great football we have played.
We don't seem to be getting any luck, on or off the pitch and the relentless negativity of some of our own so called supporters on here grinds me down.
Whatever happens, I am proud of Rooney and his management team, our players and those fans who give their all, week in, week out, whatever the performance.

Whilst I fully understand that this is a complicated business negotiation that cant be done like buying a pack of crisps, whoever buys the club needs fans as a revenue stream whatever division we are in. CK seemed to get this. The decline in spirit from all connected to the club is noticeable. We need a lift. A PB announcement and big "I am here to save the club" type statement is sorely needed right now.
