Turn to the one man that has kept us, the players and the whole club going throughout this sorry affair. Our Wazza. I think if his enthusiasm ever starts to Wayne (pun intended) then we're in big trouble. I have to admit it was very worrying when B4 had a wobble a few days back but thankfully he's back on track now.

Well, we have another month of uncertainty and speculation ahead of us.
I don't mind admitting this morning's lack of news has hit me hard.
We need to try and look after ourselves - and each other - over  these next few weeks.
I feel better when I am watching games. Luckily, there are plenty of Derby games during February to keep us going.
What will you do to try and keep positive?

£10k for a CBE. That must have been his best value deal between 2015-2021.

Only just got round to reading Nixon's article. I think the most interesting bit, if you can believe the reluctant one, is his comment:
HMRC and government are now asking the EFL about the dispute and how it affects the amount paid to the tax man. Under the original admin plan HMRC would get 25 per cent of their cash, around £7 million.
This is positive news. It should mean that Quantuma have at last some useful additional leverage, as it seems to date the EFL have been simply saying we aint budging, and our rules have to be followed in respect of the Boro/Wyco claims. I would hope the Government and their Tax Collecting Authority will be more than gently reminding them too that the EFL are not superior to the laws of the land, and that they must comply fully with the relevant legal statute.

Who is acting in the interest of DCFC in these meetings?
We know that the admins are legally bound to act for creditors
We know the EFL act on behalf of all the other Clubs
The prospective buyers act to get the best deal for themselves
NO ONE ACTS FOR THE CLUB OR SUPPORTERS IN THESE BEHIND DOORS MEETINGS.

The only thing we as supporters can do is everything we've done since we were placed into administration. Keep supporting.
We've come closer together as a group of supporters. We've been the 12th man at every home and away game. This Sunday shows what loyal supporters we have by the amount of tickets sold and the march to the ground.
We're doing our bit and I'm pretty confident the Admins are doing there's too.
That's all we can do and keep doing it going until the end of the season. Yes we'd like to sign players but IF we don't lose anybody major between now and the end of the transfer window, I believe (and so do all staff at DCFC) we can stay up - and that would be an even greater achievement than winning the Premier League. Just imagine the day that happens and the party we'd all have.
Just stay positive guys and gals and make sure you've got your scarves and flags raised high at Sundays game - we need these 3 points more than anything and that could take us to within 5 point off safety.

Oh I agree. Quantuma are a professional outfit. They will play communications straight down the line, in order to ensure they get the best deal available. Quantuma will not comment on press tittle tattle - nothing to be gained - but will say something if they are being unjustly maligned directly by the EFL (or Morris) - hence their more sharply worded statement a couple of weeks ago. MPs will also be aware of the legal sensitivities, but are more likely to say something after the meeting tomorrow which will more directly address the fans concerns. It might still be too wooly for most to appreciate, unless Pauline Latham or Margaret Beckett go nuclear and decide to use parliamentary privelege in the House, and point fingers. That would be pretty interesting.

I agree, but it must be difficult for them. They are constrained by confidentiality and NDA's, and will not want to put in the public domain anything that might be a) commercially sensitive or b) allienate interested parties, including and in particular the EFL. Not really sure what they can say other than what they have, offering additional assurances to all fans that they are fighting the Club's corner whilst being mindful of their legal duties to obtain the best return for the Creditors. Its a minefild for them to pick through, and frankly (not they will say it) the relevance of the fans in the actual process is actually very low. Glad its not my gig. I bet right at the moment they probably wish it wasn't their's also ?

    From the latest statement:
‘… providing additional time to seek clarity on the claims from Middlesbrough and Wycombe’
How much time do they need to seek ‘clarity’?! You’ve had months!
On and on it goes. Trying to keep the faith and stay calm but it’s not easy.

like one of those hostage statements.. “ I am being treated very well, and I admit I am an American spy not an aid worker. And I’m not just saying that because a gun is being held at my head”.

Well a month extra for the boys to keep up the fight on the pitch, which to a man they all are doing, let's just hope we still have enough of them by Feb 1st still here, with bayonets fixed to continue the fight ???

On the pitch, this season has been brilliant. Maybe the football hasn't been quite as exciting as some of our better eras, but I don't remember a time when the players, management and fans felt so bonded.
It always looks like the players give everything they've got. Really, that's all we can ask. I've never bood at a game, but occasionally it's felt like the players in past seasons deserved it for their lack of effort. Not this season - even in defeat they've all deserved our praise, support and applause.

    I can’t believe it, really.
The team up against it all, the chaps that are fighting to keep a smile on the faces of everyone in and around the club, are the ones who I have felt closest to as a fan.
That might not make sense, but the lads that go out there and give it their best for 90 minutes in the first team, the 23’s, 18’s, to me, are the most likeable that we’ve had in a long long time.
Saw that post about Festy Ebosele earlier, dare I say it it made me feel rather emotional.
We have a bunch of players who are the most ambitious, determined, down to earth players that we’ve ever had at this club, and it kind of makes me sad that the season I have felt this way has ultimately been this season. I wish and I hope that we don’t lose any more of these fantastic chaps that we have at this football club.
I thank Rooney, Rosenior, Walker and co, for keeping fighting, for staying grounded, determined, and battling against the odds but honestly, this set of lads that we go out in our numbers and support, are the most genuine, honest and most likeable we’ve had at Derby County football club in such a long time.
I really really hope we can retain the vast majority of these past this season.
I think regardless of circumstance come May, come Cardiff @ home, we can look back and see that every single individual at this club, the players, the staff, the fans, have all shown us who they are deep down, and have shown commitment, ambition, determination. The three most important characteristics.
Be proud of yourselves, and keep fighting against all odds.

I do think, once all this blows over, there needs to be some sort of memorial that celebrates the people of Derby.
Maybe on Brian Clough Way as you approach Derby, a huge billboard/Sign with the words "Our City, Our Club" or something like that.
Just something that celebrates the fact the people of Derby rallied round and saved our club and to show anyone entering Our City, this and the club belongs to the people.
