Gotta say that for all the madness surrounding this club, this has been my favourite season in fookin years. Our kids playing with the same ferocity and passion as the battle hardened old warriors. Things you love to see!  ?

Now come out and absolutely tear into the EFL Wayne! let rip!

I am absolutely astounded that these players and management team can produce a performance like that after what happened yesterday.  It defies belief.  I’m so proud and I’ve got a tear in my eye.  I wish my lad and I could have been there today, showing these heroes my appreciation. Just amazing.

What a superb win..
The morally bankrupt EFL can throw what they like at us but we are Derby County...we have history and heritage and the best fans. We will survive, our players and management team deserve that at least.  New owners whoever they are should be privileged to own such a fantastic club ..
Just get it done and let these boys make history.

For the first time this season I feel really flat before a game. I can only imagine the players feel similar so IF we put in a performance today, win or lose then Rooney really must have a huge influence on the dressing room. And that influence will be invaluable going forward.

Yes his win ratio is poor but that doesn’t mean he’s been poor. 
 
What more could you ask of him, given  the circumstances we’ve all debated on here for the previous 12 months? 
 
What’s difficult to understand about that? Give the guy a break!

Glad you're not the chairman with those ridiculously high standards of yours. Have you even considered his circumstances this season? Most fans wrote us off with a 21 point deduction, and its because of Wayne Rooney that the team are still fighting until the end. 
What would you expect any other manager to do differently? 

It's only little but it is very cold today 
 

Under the circumstances has to be 'Excellent' for me.
Yes some of the football has been poor (more so last season) but he couldn't have been dealt a crapper hand. 
Stuck by us when many wouldn't (yes he's earning a lot but he doesn't need the money). Feels like the only person holding this club together most of the time.
Who knows how long he'll be here - could be a week, could be years. Let's enjoy him while he lasts. 
And all this coming from someone who wasn't happy about how the job came about, nor enamoured with having another rookie 'celebrity' manager. But he's proved me well and truly wrong.

Same, I've got to go to my gf's parents for a get together that I agreed to a while ago. I'll just be spending all my time checking the score and news updates I imagine 

Obviously not sure how this will end up, but hopefully with the Government installing an independent regulator of Football, and the English Football League in general, and of course our Club surviving.
I have been more sympathetic than most to the EFL as to how they have behaved throughout this sorry story, as they have been more than less implementing the rules of the member clubs. Let’s, none of us, go back over all that again though. We are where we are, and that has all been debated and regurgitated to death.
Where I am now though is that the EFL has gone too far. When they made their decision on points deductions, embargoes, spending limits etc., that should have been the end of the matter. Middlesborough and Wycombe should have both been told the decision has been made, and no other actions by member clubs were allowed. They may actually have done that, but clearly they are still allowing those two tails to wag the dog, perhaps under some threat of counter claim otherwise against the EFL themselves. Who knows, but whatever it is it is clear that their rules are not fit for purpose. They certainly aren’t fit for Insolvency matters, because the EFL appear to be proposing that their member rules are superior to statute.
The next few days/weeks will be very interesting as to see what action might be taken against the EFL, by Administrators (under the power invested in them to complete their legal duties, rather than as Club representatives), by Creditors, by a preferred bidder, or even by a supporter/supporters group. Hopefully someone will fund an action through the Courts for injunctive relief to put a stop to the impasse. I wonder too whether Quantuma are now considering muddying the water further by making a claim against QPR, dragging them into the mix. After all any footballing claim for compensation does not have to be legally sound it seems to be heard, it just has to be within the scope of the EFL Rules (so no statute of limitations, etc). The EFL, and their interpretation of the rule book, are backing themselves into a corner on this, or being backed into a corner by Gibson in particular, and I think there is some advantage to us now, and football governance in general for the future, that there is little wriggle room for them left to manoeuvre without counter action by someone outside of the member Clubs. There is a significant amount of money at stake here, and I think shortly the EFL will have to blink when it goes to the next step. I think MSD might move first on this, for what worth.
I am resigned to tier 3 football next season, but I remain confident that there is a preferred bidder (hopefully Ashley who is a legal pit bull) who will save us from liquidation, and who will ultimately push us forward  in the right direction in the pyramid. What is important is that as part of the legal process against the EFL it has to be also made clear that any claims Boro and Wycombe want to make against the Club are made through the Courts not via a LAP arbitration. I am almost certain Gibson and Couhig would not try on their claim via a Court of Law, but what have they got to lose by going to a LAP? Vexatious, spineless Bamfords.

Ah, come on. Everyone should be able to have an opinion on this. I don't agree with him or her but all viewpoints should be heard.

This is just how I feel. All these people are rich, have great salaries, live in fancy houses and are playing politics with our club, our passion, our wellbeing.
Whatever happens,  they carry on in their safe little bubbles without a thought of the consequences to the average fan who works overtime to pay for tickets, uses all their annual leave to get to games, depends on the friendship and support of their club 'family'. 
It's more important for them to be 'right', regardless of the outcome. 
It is fueled by privilege and testosterone and it absolutely stinks.

Yes if you've pissed off your colleagues and slagged off the boss you might expect that you'll be on the end of a good kicking, with many turning a blind eye to to it.
You might also expect though that once you've been beaten to a pulp and left bleeding on the floor that the kicking stops and you're allowed to pick yourself up, try to pick up your scattered teeth and get yourself sorted out. You've had your punishment, fair enough.
That's where we're at. We're not asking for favours or for people to rush in and save us, just not to invent more ways to justify further attacks or to kick the chair we're using as support to get back on our feet out from under us.
Instead what's being allowed to happen is for two colleagues to decide we haven't been punished enough, refuse to let us get back on our feet but instead continue to mercilessly kick us in the head to the point where our death seems certain.
This is being overseen by the boss who's now just reeling off lines from the corporate handbook about how he's not allowed to get involved in employee disputes, meaning he can just sit back and enjoy watching you be kicked to death, not condoning his employees actions but, well you know, very much condoning them and being complicit in our extinction.

I will probably post more fully later Kevin. I have just had a quick skim through as per my morning routine, but have a few things to do over the next few hours.
2 immediate thoughts.

I think Quantuma were mugged by the EFL on Thursday, but it is really harsh to blame them. They no doubt entered the meeting with a plan that met the statutory requirements of IA86 and all Acts that followed, that was for the collective benefit of the established creditors who they represent, and with a funding arrangement and plan in accordance with the backing of their preferred bidder which would give the club an opportunity to still be competitive this season, as well as ensuring its continuing survival. The EFL cut through all of that it seems by insisting that their rule on arbitration of Boro and Wycomb’s vexatious claims must come before any of that is considered is astonishing, in my view - but I am no legal expert, and I won’t become one scouring the Internet over the coming days. I would have thought that Quantuma must now consider taking counsel with a view to injuncting the EFL to enable the statutory process to proceed. If they have the funds to do so. Otherwise perhaps MSD will. They have a lot to lose if they end up ultimately with a white elephant stadium for their £25m advance, and no Club to play in it.
